"This was my second experience using the drive-thru, and I was once again let down by my lunch. I ordered a Quarter Pounder meal and specifically requested no onions on my burger, but it came with onions anyway, forcing me to remove them myself. I also asked for mayonnaise, which I received, but it wasn’t actually on the burger. It felt like the person preparing my order was too distracted to pay attention. The bun was dry, the meat was cold, and the cheese didn’t even melt. To top it off, the lettuce was starting to look brown. I’m giving it two stars only because the fries were warm (not hot) and my drink was correct. What has happened? I remember when McDonald's used to be a great place to eat—hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. I understand that many employees today may come from a generation that expects convenience without putting in the effort. Good luck if you decide to use the drive-thru. If customers checked their meals before leaving, perhaps that would encourage management to improve their service. That's two strikes against the Middlesboro McDonald's."

"I went through the drive-thru around 4:15 PM. I ordered a Big Mac, a Happy Meal with a cheeseburger, fries, and apple juice; a Spicy Deluxe McCrispy; a medium fries; and a small fries without salt. I was told to pull up until my order was ready, so I waited while five other cars received their orders. After another 15 minutes, they finally brought my food out. I got home about 10 minutes later, only to find that all my food was cold and unappetizing. To make matters worse, I still didn't receive the 10-piece nuggets I ordered or my granddaughter's small fries. This was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I don't think I’ll ever order from McDonald's again."

I frequently receive incorrect orders or missing items like sauces, utensils, and napkins. On one occasion, I was overcharged, and they didn't get my order right at all—I had to request a refund because I no longer wanted the food. That's why I always check my order before leaving. They make too many mistakes; they really need to improve their staff or their service."

"My recent experiences trying to find consistently good frappe options at McDonald’s locations in Monroe, West Monroe, and Bastrop had really lowered my expectations. However, today in Ruston, I ordered a chicken mocha wrap through the app, pulled up to the pick-up window, and waited for about five minutes. Suddenly, a woman appeared with a bag and a cloth. She greeted me warmly, thanked me, wished me a good day, and handed me exactly what I had ordered, along with some napkins and even a straw. I didn't have to reassemble my food or go home to fix it up. I also didn't have to fight for a refund because they actually had what I ordered (or more accurately, they chose to prepare it). This was truly a 5-star experience!"

"Standard McDonald's food, but they were using a robot to take orders which was kinda tricky for us to use because we're old school, so we moved forward to see if we could add the things we wanted to our order, but the lady there was yelling and just rude. Horrible experience, I would give it a 0/5 if I could. If you can’t handle the inside, shut down the inside, or the drive thru!"

"The staff here work super hard and accurately. BUT. Management keeps making employees stand outside by the drive thru lane to take orders. I asked if this was because of problem with the intercom but was told no. They have no shade, and no chairs outside or at the cashier window. Stop making them do this. While you’re at it, provide them their own N95 masks, paid time off for vaccines if they need it, a living wage and full health benefits."
