"I live less than half a mile from this restaurant and used to walk there several times a week during the winter when I had friends visiting. Since returning to town, I've gone back twice in the last couple of weeks, but I found they now enforce a strict policy of one drink per hour and closely monitor when you had your last drink. The food and service are only mediocre at best, so if you’re not part of the local Mormon community and are looking to enjoy a game with drinks and friends, you will likely be very disappointed. There are at least 50 other restaurants in the area that offer better food and service."

"I came because of recommendations from other people, place is nice has an old school feel to it, was seated got my menu the first thing I noticed is this place is a bit more expensive then other Italian restaurants that are popular that’s alright as long as the food is good, apps come out they’re alright at best the food comes out it’s good but the other Italians restaurants I frequent (Luciano’s, Francesco’s) put out way better food, for the price Picanos is not worth it."

"We had an enjoyable time during our meal, but the dining experience left much to be desired. We waited five minutes before anyone greeted us at the front door. Once we were seated, we waited another ten minutes for our server, who then told us she would be back to get us water. We had to stop her to place our beer order, which arrived with a rather old and crusty orange on the glass. When she finally returned to take our food order—after another ten minutes—there wasn't even an apology or acknowledgment of our wait; all we got was, "So, what are we having?" "The Max is the best interior in Chicagoland. The size of the fields is unmatched. The field grass is high quality, he had problems, but I personally saw that the staff treated a tear that had occurred in a seam. "Imagine a fifties diner with a bar at dusk, almost empty and the hostess sits you at a table next to the only other eating. The couple does not understand how to speak in conversational tones. They were yelling at each other as if the music was playing at stadium levels. Of course we moved away to a quieter area. The salad was miniature, the rib eye steak was a strip steak. When I called the issue to the managements attention, they told me, they have only rib eye steak. No arguing with these people. Paid my bill and left. What an ugly dinning experience!"
