"This restaurant on Roosevelt Island is absolutely fantastic! The food is outstanding! I especially enjoyed the pizzas I've tasted, but my favorite has to be the lamb gyro, which you can see in the photo. The menu features a delightful variety of options, and they have a great selection of wine, craft beers, and ciders. The lovely patio lets guests take in views of the East River and the park right across the street. Whether you opt for indoor or outdoor seating, it's the perfect place to enjoy a meal and relax. I highly recommend it! They also offer delivery."

"Went for lunch. Very affordable, very thin pizza. Crust wasn't soggy but wasn't crispy either. If I had not ordered pick up I suspect the crust would have been 5X better. So either order online and have reasonable expectations or order in person for what I suspect is a much better experience."

"Rude staff. I called to see if I could get a combination pizza and was asking questions. This was the second time I called as I was trying to make a decision with my mother on her way home. The person literally rudely told me “I can’t do this. I have customers. You need to call me back when You make up your minds”. He hung up the phone on me.That is terrible customer service. You lost me as a customer."

Garlic bread, brochette, and Mozzarella sticks are a great go-to. Do stay away from the calamari, but I did already mention about the seafood. Otherwise, a salad is always an excellent choice. The desert menu has always been quite a favorite. Where else in this town can you enjoy Spumoni?"

"I ordered a coupon offline it does say upon looking back fingers but it gave me option for wings/ fingers when choosing my options for sauces so I assumed I could get wings and wrote wings in the notes. When I got there whoever gave me my order was extremely rude and unprofessional and said in a disgusted manner “ I don’t know why who made the order wrote wings when it’s just for fingers “ i politely said well it said wings on my options so I wrote in wings if it’s just fingers it should be more clear and she aggressively told me multiple times it was not wings included. I also paid for extra blue and received neither blue cheese in my order. Overall will never return somewhere where they clearly don’t understand how to talk to people or to advertise on their website. "And then there are the fries. Many pizza places struggle with fries—soggy, hard, overcooked, or raw. Whenever I ordered fries from other spots, I ended up disappointed. That's not the case with Nick and Joe's. Their fries are cooked to perfection, golden brown and crispy on the outside while maintaining a soft, fluffy interior. Simply perfect. They also offer delicious curly fries that are equally well-made. I should also mention that the portions here are incredibly generous. Given how good everything is, it's hard to finish a meal by myself. I’d recommend sharing with a loved one or a friend! As for the pizza, I tried it as well. It was decent—nothing extraordinary—but considering my recent experiences with local pizza joints, it's been the best so far."

"This was my second time ordering at this place before I just order the pizza with cheese the sauce was way too salty so I figured if I ordered the second time I would just get light sauce. There was no sauce on my pizza at all, the cheese completely separated from the dry bread it was not good. I ordered the wings with sauce on the side they were smothered in sauce the shells and cheese are very runny and subpar. When I called to speak to someone a lady would not even allow me to speak and kept talking over me she would not listen to anything that I had to say then when I responded with the same energy she was giving me she wanted to tell me God bless you I don't want to hear that this food is terrible. I spent over $40 here. Stay away from here the people have the nastiest attitudes and clearly can't read or follow instructions."

"Let me start out by saying the food is great but the owner is absolutely one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. He will not give you his name and will argue with you over a missing salad dressing. I will also state a large group of people place these orders as least weekly and have placed thousands of dollars worth of orders in 2023 alone. We will now be looking for another local pizza company that will be grateful for our business. Good luck to the employees who have to work for such a terrible individual. Good luck to the customer in their food being right, don’t call and tell them anything is wrong as you will be the problem and just get yelled at and hung up on.Response to the owner: it was not mayo it was blue cheese dressing which we did not find, you hung up on me and I called a second time after you refuse to let me speak to Nikki or Amber. You seriously are terrible and can’t even get the information correctly as you don’t care. Little do you know those thousands spent there in 2023 were on my credit card and myself and others will not be ordering from such a terrible business owner. You may still have other co workers order there but it will be very few and orders will be very minimal for 1-2 people. It’s very amusing that you are trying to make yourself look good by lying in the review and to literally yell at a customer over “blue cheese” and hang up on them. You clearly are too big headed of a business owner and just remember who pays your bills, the customer. Good luck with all your future business"

"Wow! Where to begin!! First off I was looking for spumoni for my mother who hasn’t been able to find it and she’s been talking about it for about 2 years. Through searching I found it on their menu! So my mom came to visit from NY for thanksgiving so tonight I decided to take her. This was mine and her first time at Grapevine. What a beautiful restaurant! Inside and out! Very warm and welcoming. The staff is incredible! From being seated to the waitress Mandy (I believe) fantastic! A lovely lady complimented my makeup and was so sweet!! There’s an appetizer that they have with a flame and the whole staff yells OPA! They don’t seem annoyed at this and thoroughly enjoy it! We tried the boom boom shrimp which was to DIE FOR! If you don’t like a lot of spice I suggest the sauce on the side. I ordered a white pizza with broccoli and it was amazing! The crust was great! My mother ordered the meat lasagna and wow! The serving sizes are massive and the quality was fantastic! She got coffee that she said was strong and good, her spumoni and I got a dessert with honey and custard (not sure the name) it was wonderful! The entire experience was phenomenal. I spoke with the manager who was so nice because they’re doing such an incredible job! In this day and age it’s been so hard to find a restaurant with workers who seem to actually enjoy being there and interacting with guests and each other. Just wow!! I will be returning with my fiancé and his parents! This will be our new date spot for sure! Thank you again for a wonderful experience! So happy my mom was here to enjoy this!! "We have lived in the area for less than a year. We have been told to check out this restaurant and we finally did tonight. I must say we waited to long to make the visit. The food was excellent! I had the piazza trio and loved it. I also had the steak sliders and they were great. The kids loved their food and enjoyed the ice cream at the end. My husband enjoyed his pizza and the bruschetta. In fact we have plenty of leftovers for the next day or so. And our waitress Bryana was great! Honestly can't wait to visit again!"
