"Great find! We were visiting Roanoke and looking for wine and good food when we came across Well Hung Vineyard. We did make a reservation which was a good idea considering how busy they were. Nice open relaxing atmosphere. We bought a bottle of their cabernet sauvignon which had dark fruit flavors, black cherry notes. The service was top notch and very willing to explain any part of the menu. We ordered the portobello fries for appetizer. The balsamic roasted portobello mushroom was rolled in panko bread and fried then drizzled with garlic aioli. My wife had the fusilli caesar salad and I had the full monty flatbread pizza. Both dishes were well prepared and presented. For dessert we enjoyed the cheese cake. It was a great visit and we will be going back next time we are in Roanoke."

"I visited tonight for a birthday dinner, and it was a fantastic experience. The pizza was outstanding, the beer was excellent, and the pretzel was gigantic! I'm a big fan of the McNellies restaurants. We ordered the meatball pizza and the supreme pizza, and the medium size was more than enough for two people—it was basically a whole sheet pan of pizza. The Haven-style crust was just right, and the toppings were plentiful. There are lots of TVs, but the atmosphere was quite loud, making it difficult to hear the people at our table. The waitstaff was very knowledgeable and patient with our large group, which I really appreciated. Overall, a great night out!"

"Went to Castaway Craig 's in Lake Milton last night and when checking the bill when done, noticed Service Fee of 3%. Figured it was if a credit card was used to pay bill, and I totally understand that, but when I said we were paying the bill with cash, and asked if that fee would come off, the waitress said it is just charged on all bills, credit cards or cash. Tips were figured on bottom of receipt so what is the service fee for. No excuse was given. Not sure this is legal. Watch your bills there."
