"Would not recommend this place until they adjust their attitudes and also fix their AC in the rentable event room. We had an event booked there and although the venue was visually nice, the AC was terrible on this Texas heat. We understand they can do only so much but what I don't understand is why the owner himself was so rude and unprofessional about it. I did not appreciate the way he talked to us and I would not recommend or come to this place again as a venue to rent. The heat is bad and I understand the AC can only do so much, we weren't looking for any compensation either for it but just wanted have our concerns heard is all without rudeness."

"We found Five Palms while looking for a piano bar. We enjoyed the ambiance and a couple of glasses of wine. It was great so we made reservations for the next night. I requested a table with a view. The hostess called and explained that the view was in another space called Oliva but that reservations were not accepted in that space. She recommended we keep our reservations in the dining room and that we could go to Oliva if a table was available. It was. So we enjoyed the dinner menu and the view. The food and service was excellent so I canceled our reservations at another upscale restaurant and made reservations for Five Palms for Christmas Eve. Before our Christmas Eve dinner, we enjoyed a glass of wine outside near the fireplace. Sadly, Oliva was closed so we couldn't enjoy the view from there but that was a minor inconvenience. The view of the Santa Catalinas from the patio was fabulous. Everything was impeccable in the dining room. The food was outstanding, The service couldn't have been better. In fact, it was like having dinner with very polite friends and family. Five Palms has four different spaces in which to enjoy food and drink. We enjoyed the concept so much we went 3 nights in a row. We've been to many great restaurants in Tucson. Few rival Five Palms."

"The cashiers frequently make errors, so it's essential to review your receipt before leaving. Moreover, the staff seems to lack basic customer service etiquette, as greetings and expressions of gratitude are noticeably absent, and their appearance could use improvement. While D'Agostino on 1st Ave is more expensive, it offers a significantly better experience."
