"My family really likes this pita jungle location. My wife has to be on a gluten free diet because she has celiac disease. It's hard to find places that are knowledgeable about gluten and are accommodating. The staff is very nice and welcoming. If our server doesn't know a question about the nutritional value of a food item they are quick to verify. The food is always yummy, warm, and well prepared. My favorite item on the menu is the nachos. I highly recommend them."

"This place has really gone down hill I have been coming here for a long time and the food quality is just bad ordered a fresh food plate they bring it to my table you can look at it and see it's just old the Lettuce was all discolored Watermelon bananas cantaloupe all dark and tasted horrible my wife had chicken parmesan the chicken was uncooked and real dry cost $50 I didn't complain because I'm never coming back. There's a lot better choices out there."

"Was excited to get a burger at a place that offered a pretty decent glutenfree bun. The Mimosas flights were cute. Enjoyed the pineapple upside down cake version and the cherry limeade, the other two not so much. They were out of alot of items that day, but ill take out of fresh items than stocked full of whatever has been sitting around forever Aka food chain garbage. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The tot bowls are out of control! I feel like they should be part of a Man verses Food Food Network challenge. Tried a few items. Nothing super amazing. Nice atmosphere. We did see another table get some amazing looking waffles so I'd recommend trying those just based on the visual. It's great just to have a chance to get out for brunch in anywhere in Syracuse since so many places are currently closing, but we always try to support the smaller businesses. ;"

"Do you ever get a bad meal at a diner? Food was delicious but the cost was outrageous. A skillet is $21? This is why I don't live in New York. This is nothing against the server nor the quality of the food."

"I'm very disappointed in this pita jungle location. I have been to pita jungle's all over Arizona. This experience tonight was horrible. The restaurant was decently busy. We got seated rather quickly. The waitress seemed inexperienced and annoyed. I specifically asked for a tofu pita wrap with no pickles or mushrooms, vegetables and rice. The pita came out with mushrooms and pickles! She must don't have a good memory to completely disregard what I asked for the pita not to include. The vegetables were hard. Also I never got the side of rice!! I asked for rice!!! The food was brought and there was no silverware at the table. I said we need silverware! She took 5 minutes to grab utensils. Our drinks were never filled...at all!! She only checked on us one time the whole visit. Horrible experience!"

"Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, I was promptly seated on the patio which I requested. Ordered the baba ganoush and a Greek salad. Having never tried ganoush, I thought it had good flavor and texture similar to hummus. The Greek salad looked amazing, other than the large cucumbers, but the taste was a little disappointing as it didn't have any dressing to enhance the flavors.I also ordered a gyro that had good flavor, but I found it on the small side, especially considering the price.Overall I found the atmosphere and service very satisfying, I was slightly disappointed in my food selection this particular day."

"This is a hidden gem and never disappoints; great for a date night! The decor is fun, inviting, and warm! The only drawback is, it can be hard to find a parking spot, but once you do land one, you are golden and believe me the food will be worth the effort. They also have live jazz music on most nights, so it can get a little loud in some areas for dining. They have a nice bar area, but don 't go looking for any happy hour specials. Great appetizers and portion sizes are more than adequate. If you like great Italian food, give it a try! They are only open for dinner and I would highly suggest reservations for weekend dining. Enjoy!"

"The pita and tzatziki sauce at this restaurant are fantastic, and their Mediterranean Chicken is delicious. Another excellent choice is their curry chicken."

"In an area where vegetarian and vegan dining options are scarce, Pita Jungle stands out as the top choice. This local modern Mediterranean chain offers a dedicated vegan menu that is nearly as extensive as the main menu, along with regular vegan specials. The food is delicious, and the service is consistently friendly and accommodating. I particularly enjoy the falafel pita, the vegan Mediterranean antipasto plate, and the spinach pasta salad. There are also excellent vegan kids' meal options available, featuring a variety of vegan proteins. Don't miss out on their stellar Guava-Limonade!"

"After many visits over the years, this review is long overdue! I travel all over the Valley, and whenever it's time to eat, I try to find one of the 20 Pita Jungle locations for a quick, light lunch. I enjoy the fresh food and absolutely LOVE the teas they offer, especially the green tea. Lately, I’ve been frequenting the Pita Jungle at Frank Lloyd Wright and Thompson Peak more often than other locations. One of the items on the seasonal menu was a fantastic, loaded taco for $3, which was perfect for a light, healthy lunch. Unfortunately, the taco was removed from the menu, but my server, Lara L., offered a special option that’s even better than the taco I enjoyed so much. It’s a toasted pita loaded with moist, tender chicken, pine nut roasted red pepper hummus, and topped with red tomatoes. It's become my new perfect light lunch! Thank you, Lara L., for the great service and the wonderful food suggestion!"

"This place is great for Taco Tuesday, the sea bass tacos and baja fish tacos are fantastic and the chips & salsa are amazing. I will say that the hostess was very confused about our reservation and explained that OpenTable never works on time for them, but she still cleared out a place for us within 15 minutes. This place can get a little pricey, but happy hour on Taco Tuesday is a must."

"Haven't had Pita Jungle in a while so I decided to try out this location. My bf and I had 2 delicious wraps, service was quick, food was good. We added some baklavas for dessert, but upon biting it I felt something weird in my throat. It felt hard so I immediately tried to spit out. It was like pieces of a plastic thread. My bf took a bite of his right after and found it on his too. I broke down the third one with my hands and found more. We were obviously disappointed but we know accidents happen. I was concerned I saw it in more than one though, since it could be a choking hazard so I called the restaurant to let them know. The girl that answered just wanted to send me to the manager but after telling her I wasn't going to complain she said thanks for letting them know. No info asked about when was the order or anything so I just hope they did check their stuff for other people's safety."

"I called in an order at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon. The place was not busy at all, only three tables with individuals eating. I ordered just two gyros. Not a hard order. Arrived 15 min later and waited another 20 for my take out. Looked like plenty of staff available as they were walking around joking and laughing with each other. Saw at least five different employees come from the kitchen area. Got my gyros home, unwrapped and was definitely disappointed. Have eaten at the Scottsdale location many times and always satisfied and the portions generous. I won?t go to this location again. Yes that?s the tiny tomato slice on each."
"Although I didn't visit the restaurant itself, I had the opportunity to try their food truck when it stopped in my neighborhood. I had never tasted their food before, but I had heard great things about it. Everything was fresh and delicious. I especially loved the garlic fries, and the jalapeño cilantro hummus was absolutely outstanding! I didn’t care for the chicken gyro I ordered, but that was just my personal taste. On the other hand, my husband really liked his steak gyro. I would definitely go back just for the hummus; it was that incredible!"

"The restaurant is quite convenient and the food is good with no complaints. I usually order the hummus (try different flavors to find your favorite) and the falafel. I've had several falafel sandwiches, which are always satisfying. The bean and rice dish is flavorful, and I enjoy the seasoned potatoes—mix them with their hot sauce for an extra kick. However, I really wish the black bean burger didn't contain milk; it's a bit puzzling. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, and the location is excellent. If you're coming from the 101, head north on Tatum; you'll find Pita Jungle in a strip shopping center on the west side of Tatum, right across from a U.S. Bank. There's plenty of parking available. The bartender who assisted me during my visit could have been better—he seemed a bit off. I’m big on customer service, and this experience felt more pretentious compared to other Pita Jungle locations in the valley, which I didn't appreciate. But that’s Scottsdale for you, I suppose. If you focus on the food, you’ll be just fine."
