"I truly value the freshness and beautiful presentation of the fruits and vegetables at Aj's Fine Foods. My checkout experiences have been wonderful, especially with the friendly and efficient lady who works early mornings. However, the butchers and seafood counter have been disappointing. Aj’s tends to be more expensive than other stores, though the quality is usually better. Still, when I see filet priced at $35 per pound and Petrale sole at $20, I expect better service, more information, and options instead of rushed interactions with staff. This isn’t a one-time issue—I’ve encountered similar problems repeatedly in the meat and fish sections. The flower and gift department is also quite pricey. While I love the produce and some of the checkout staff, I feel disrespected when dealing with the meat and seafood teams. When I ask about fish freshness or meat cuts, the treatment is often poor. I’m not asking for lengthy explanations, just basic respect. It’s truly disappointing."
