"It’s a small, simply decorated Italian bakery located just a few blocks north of the Adrienne Arsht Theater, and adjacent to the Margaret Pace Park: a great place for a stroll by the sea.Parking however, is difficult to find. The owner comes from the same Italian city where I grew up: they have great bakeries all over the city, therefore I was really excited when I heard that they were opening a bakery in Miami too, and I was looking forward to try them.As soon as you come in (on the 2nd floor) you see a big display full of desserts, panini and pizzas. Everything you see there is homemade, and they also have a very small selection of wine and beers. We were here for lunch: I ordered a “ham and cheese crostino” while my husband had a panino with tomato, mozzarella and arugula.Unfortunately my expectations were probably too high: the food is just ok and too expensive for its quality. I was also surprised not to see a wider variety of Italian pastries (also expensive). On a positive note, all baked stuff is sold at ½ price after 7pm.The staff is friendly, but I don’t know if I’ll be back, considering that I’ve had better experiences in other Italian bakeries in Miami, which happen to be cheaper as well."
