"This was an uncommonly mediocre experience and I want to emphasize that it was not the fault of the restaurant or its management. We were advised that there was a shortage of staff and that the kitchen was backed up. We arrived at 6:40 for a 7 p. m. reservation and were not seated until after 7:15. Our server did not approach the table until we had been seated for ten minutes. One of the managers or hosts brought us non-alcoholic beverages while we were waiting to be greeted by our server, which we appreciated. I thought it made sense to order our entrees at the time I ordered a cocktail, given the knowledge that the kitchen was behind. Unfortunately, we found that was no longer the case. Our entrees came out promptly, well before the cocktail (There should have been two bartenders on duty. There was only one and the tiny bar area was packed with customers). I was taken aback by another substantial price increase. A bowl of wedding soup is now $9.99, a bowl of seafood bisque $11.99. I know of no restaurant charging these prices for soup and many include soup or salad with entrees. Chicken parmesan is $23.99. A favorite neighborhood restaurant recently increased its prices, but only to $22 for a most generous chicken parmigiana portion, and the $22 includes soup or salad. Another favorite area Italian restaurant charges $19.95 for its ample portion of excellent chicken parmigiana, a price which includes two side dishes, including a choice of salads. The restaurant is busy for the holiday season, but if customers are value-conscious, I do not believe that will continue once the holidays are past."

"I grew up in cincy and tried all kinds of cincy style chili. the most famous places are gold star and skyline chili, there are also blue ash chili. until I tried dixie chili, blue ash was my favorite chili location. Now I can't see that I eat something other than dixie! it is different from the other cincy style chili, to the best way possible! it is not overwhelming in season. some chili are in my opinion too sweet and sharp. dixie makes a good work to balance all aromatic aromes. I believe the reason why dixie chili is the best because they are one of the original recipes for cincy style chili; this place has one of the oldest cincy chili recipes. I'm a little bit of a stratified buff to this thema. Anyway, I would highly recommend diving the 4-way or the chili man! both were really the best cincy chili I ever tasted! I just can't stop riding this place! I have eaten three times in the last two days. that should tell them it's really good to eat. every time I came in, the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. the place is super clean, the music was on an acceptable level every time I went to eat. the one part is that there is only a bathroom stall for the women toilet, but at least there was no huge line to use it. in hours nobody else will have a good choice. it will be a bit crowded to dinner time. I would recommend to everyone to try this place at least once."
