"I've been a regular customer at Jakes of Willow Glen for the past 18 years. My husband and I would enjoy pizza and beers while watching any NFL NBA games. For the past few months, and especially tonight, their service has been very below average. We always order the same large pepperoni and 2 buckets of wings. We call 1 hour ahead for a 5:30 pick up. The last 5 order have been wrong, even after waiting 30 minutes or more inside the restaurant. The wings are spicy buffalo instead of bbq, they've only made 1 order of wings, the pizzas aren't cooked all the way through, no side dipping sauces paid for but not in bag. It's been frustrating to say the least. I would love to continue being a regular but Jake's it not living up to the service it used to provide."

"Easy, fast, and good comfort food. I especially love their turkey burgers, fries, and pizza. The people at the counter are super friendly but be prepared that they are often also very busy. Great for takeout, IMO. My only recommendations: ask people if they want a pickle on their dishes or not (some of us detest them and change the croutons in the Cesar salad (caraway, too, can be polarizing : . "Another classic from the G: Chicken wings with the classic Frank's hot sauce! Perfectly done! And the Gilroy Special pizza deserves a shoutout white sauce w plenty of garlic (of course), w fresh tomato slices and italian sausage. A unique and tasty offering. UPDATE 2024 08 20: Da G back open late night! Open 7 days a week until midnight! Not quite the 2am of The Good Ol' Days, but now back in play after Sharks games, or if working late, or after a concert ... fresh cheeseburger and a brew of your choice! Yay!!"

"I waited a long time to witness the cashier being rude to a customer, a behavior that everyone is aware of. The customer was simply trying to pick up her order and offered to help, but the cashier finally assisted her in a manner that left her feeling frustrated and unappreciated. Despite this, she still remained patient. However, the cashier proceeded to speak loudly about her. My family and I decided to leave as we cannot support a restaurant that mistreats its customers in this manner."

"This is a serious sausage place. It was born out of the old TAKE OUT ONLY Rosamunde on Haight Street. Traditionally the service can be a bit “rustic”, but most sausages are pretty good. It has been approved by many German sausage lovers. The beer selection is superb. Great variety from sour to IPA they even have a great non alcoholic IPA! Atmosphere is only good when it is busy otherwise it feels pretty dreary and sad. It is a bit more pricy than I like it, 2 sausages and one beer is $36."

"I ordered a pair of large fried crabs, but they were old and overly salty, making it impossible to enjoy. This was my first visit, and I also tried the flounder meal, which was similarly not fresh. "I enjoyed the pizza both times I visited. However, the prices are quite high. On my last visit, I ordered their version of a Meat Lovers pizza, which was a medium size and cost around $30. It was decent, but nothing extraordinary. This was expected in a smaller town like Castle Rock, WA. I opted for takeout for dinner, and I would say the price per person ranged from $10 to $20. "After spending $30 on two sandwiches that were supposed to be curbside, I was really disappointed with the service. No one answered the phone, so my boyfriend and I had to walk inside to speak with the only employee working at the time, which was around 2:30 PM. I had to explain my online order to him, only to find out it wasn't ready. After pointing out the order sitting on the counter behind him, I realized it was mine and it hadn't been made correctly—it had been sitting there for who knows how long. For the amount I paid for just two sandwiches, I could have easily found a better meal elsewhere."

"1st time ordering and last. When I get a ham Swiss sandwich I ALWAYS ask for the ham to be SHREDDED. NOT A DIFFICULT REQUEST. JUST slice it super thin. My order was awful ham was thick cubed (gross) if you can believe that. So disappointed. Shredded ham Swiss, how can that get screwed up? It did! No vinegar as requested either. My husband picked it up and didn 't check it assuming it was a simple order. So now I 'm stuck with a 12.00 sandwich I 'm not happy with. Going out to get something else.PS-I just called and spoke either the manager . She said they do not offer an option to shred the neat or cut it thin. Soooooo ill never return. I digest deli meat sliced thick. Ill go to publix next time."

"if I could give this place, I would. this place is so slow. called and commanded to go and was told that it would be ready in 20 minutes. I was there and paid for my meal, but my food was not ready. he waited 30-35 minutes and finally got my food. the purpose of placing an order before the time is that they will be ready as soon as they are there. this is not the first time that this happened. ridiculous.
