"I have removed my original 1 star review and replaced it with the following: I have been going to Thai orchidee for years and have found it so that I am consistent and always good. a few days ago I was waiting in an emergency vest clinic on the parking lot for hours. I was very hungry and I couldn't go, so I ordered the delivery. when I got the food, I had nothing to eat with it (removed to utensils) and my hands were not clean enough to eat with. I called thai orchid immediately and I was told a manager would call me back. I didn't hear back in that night and I didn't get my $35 delivery meal for one to eat. it was a very bad day that did not end until 12:30. skipping to today: the owner tana called me after I had received my number from uber, because my info didn't do it otherwise. he had excellent customer service skills that I did not expect (especially after reading so many reviews here. I make a lot of customers call me back as superior and I have to admit that I am a hard customer. I'm critical if I don't feel heard and I expect there's an attempt to make a situation that's right. I am, however, not unrealistic in what can be offered to a customer if I do that right. tana impressed me with his professionalism, interest in learning from this situation and asked me what he can do to make the right. he offered a refund and another meal in the hope not to lose my business. I came into our conversation, provided there was nothing he would do for me, but I was wrong. I am sure that I will be back in the future to Thai orchideee, but I will not need to use the free meal he had offered up on the refund. the times are hard and the personal is a fight. I'm grateful he offered it!"

"I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Ramen Taka, and it was quite a delightful experience. Upon arrival, we were pleased to find that there was no wait, and we were promptly seated, which is always a plus when you're hungry and craving some delicious ramen. We decided to start with their miso ramen, and I must say it was a flavorful journey for the taste buds. The broth had a deep, rich flavor that was undeniably enjoyable. However, for our personal taste, it was just a tad on the salty side. The balance between saltiness and umami was slightly skewed towards saltiness, which might not suit everyone's palate. One unique aspect of Ramen Taka is their use of digital menus on your phone. While this adds a modern touch to the dining experience, it can be a little challenging if you're used to the traditional printed menus. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it's a step towards embracing technology in the restaurant industry. One interesting feature I appreciated was the availability of two different sizes for the ramen bowls. This allows diners to choose according to their appetite, which is a thoughtful touch. In terms of logistics, the parking is situated at the back of the store, which can be convenient for those arriving by car. The staff at Ramen Taka were friendly and accommodating, which enhanced our overall dining experience. In conclusion, Ramen Taka offers a satisfying ramen experience with a few quirks. The miso ramen, while delicious, leaned towards being slightly saltier than our preference. The digital menu system might take a bit of getting used to, but it adds a modern twist to the dining experience. If you're in the mood for ramen and don't mind a slightly saltier broth, Ramen Taka is worth a visit, especially if you appreciate the convenience of different bowl sizes and friendly service."
