"Another excellent experience! Even though we live in a different state, every time we visit Delaware we’ll make sure to dine here. The homemade bread sticks are beyond excellent. The mussels in white wine sauce were delicious, as was the Chicken Isobel, the Veal Oscar, and the Chocolate Layer Cake."

"This is one of my favorite spots but this experience was less than delightful. Made a reservation as a courtesy since we were but they hadnt checked reservations recently so werent aware when we arrived. Sat down and were pretty much ignored until we finally got our drinks ordered, which then took a long time to come. Waitress then disappeared again, finally ordered probably about an hour after arriving. Food took a while and my sons food wasnt served with the other meals. Finally had to flag someone down and they brought it. His pasta when it did come out was soupy (it was a vodka sauce). Mixed reviews on the food. We order out from here probably once a week so disappointed in this level of service coming in."

"Usually, this place has some of the best cakes in the area. However, I ordered one at 5:45 PM on a Friday and picked it up at 6:05 PM. It took me about 2 minutes to drive home, and the cake was freezing. This is unacceptable! If someone arrives late for their cake, they should receive a cold cake. It's not fair to leave a loyal customer waiting like this."

"First time ordering and trying this place. I ordered delivery. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and provided nice service. This was during a pandemic in the midst of a snow storm so the timing to get it delivered is somewhat understandable. Took a little over an hour BUT it was hot . There was an issue with my order when it arrived but when I called back the same gentleman who took my order realized he'd made the mistake and sent me the correct dish in less than 30 min. Mistakes happen but how you recover makes allllll the difference and I greatly appreciate it. It was a bit pricey but you get alot for your money. I'll be back to try other items. The fettuccine Alfredo and margarita pizza was so delicious. The pasta was so flavorful and arrived hot.. Thank you."

"This Friday my husband and I visited this local restaurant to celebrate our 9th Wedding Anniversary. Unfortunately this will be the LAST TIME we eat at Bramasole. We arrived and were seated at a very nice table near the fireplace. The table across from ours was a 6 Top: 3 adults , a 2 month old infant, a 3 year old and a five year old child. One of the adults decided to give the 3 yr old their cellphone to watch a cartoon. The music in the restaurant was now drowned out by kiddie cartoons. Unfortunately the noise from the cell phone was too overwhelming.... especially for a anniversary dinner for 2 . Finally I got up and took Anna, the manager aside in the back of the restaurant to inform her of our displeasure. She admitted that she could hear the noise from the cell phone from where we were standing. To my surprise Anna was not willing to address the table of 6 that the cell phone needed to be silenced. Her solution was to inconvenience us and make US MOVE to another table. Stunning. My husband communicated his displeasure with to Anna 's solution when she came to our table. She simply offered to transport our food and wine to another table. I have 25 years experience in hospitality management. This was a coward 's way out of this situation and totally unacceptable. Things did not improve. Our second table was so close to the fire place that I was unable to tolerate the heat.....I had to remove my sweater and change my seat at the table. Unfortunately the gluten free pasta was NOT COOKED fully. At this point I did not mention this to my husband or the waiter. I just took it home . The food was underwhelming. The wine list seems to be shrinking. Our waiter , Milton was efficient. When we received our bill there was no comp on dessert or coffee to soften the fact that we had to move our seats due to the inconsiderate behavior of others. There are many other restaurants that will value our business. This one sadly is not one of them."

"Solid bar food, but paid more for it than I would an upscale restaurant in center city. They charge you for every little thing too. Want cheese on your burger? Extra. Need to pay with credit card? 3% service charge. 2 people to go to lunch with a beer each and chicken sandwich/burger. Meal was $70. There are similar options on the Ave with much cheaper prices."

"We had a wonderful dinner last night. We booked a midweek getaway at the inn and made a reservation at the restaurant. We were very pleased with our meal. We both enjoyed cocktails to start; my wife had the Caesar salad while I had the cream crab soup, and both dishes were excellent. For our main course, we ordered the pork chop and two crab cakes, and both were delicious. The crab cakes were packed with crab meat and didn’t skimp on quality like other places do. We brought a dessert back to our room and enjoyed the crème brûlée later. Overall, it was a fantastic evening."
