"We hosted the party in the central hall, which provided plenty of space, and the food setup was fantastic. There was a supervisor and two staff members at the bar who assisted us throughout the party. The layout for appetizers and the main course+dessert was well thought out, allowing guests to enjoy snacks before diving into the main dishes. Everything was not only tasty but also beautifully presented.
The standout dishes of the evening were the Poori and Shahi Tukda. I highly recommend the Poori as a bread option; while naan is common everywhere, Poori is a delightful choice that you’ll often find only in vegetarian restaurants, and even then, it’s a rare treat. It pairs wonderfully with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries, making it a hit with both kids and adults. The Shahi Tukda was a unique and delicious dessert that everyone enjoyed, both young and old!
For appetizers, we had Gobi Manchurian, Masala Mushrooms, Paneer Tikka, Chicken 65, and Mixed Chicken Kebabs—all of which were incredibly tasty. The Mixed Kebabs and Masala Mushrooms were particularly outstanding. Everything was planned and executed flawlessly, with the appetizers arriving at the scheduled time followed seamlessly by the main course and dessert. The organization of the event was impressive, and I commend the staff at Akar Restaurant for their excellent service.
