"This was the best dining experience we have ever had, period. Hospitality, for me, is the idea of everything being done with intention. With pride. With extraordinary grace and genuine care. From the moment we entered and were greeted by the hostess (apologies I forgot her name but a black Queen with braids , to our time at the bar (we enjoyed a drink as we were early for the resi , to the excellent team service with Nicole taking point, thru our end of meal chat with Harrison; everything was perfect. There was no wasted motion, no halting of care, and no lack of hospitality. The entire crew was genuinely grateful and proud to work at Compère Lapin. The. Entire. Crew. We even had a brief interaction with the gentleman manning dish who was excited we were in and thrilled our experience was so great (I watched him from the bar, he was brilliant. At 8p in the thick of service his area looked like he had just opened. Kudos brother! As someone from the hospitality world, I cannot stress how rare it is for the entire crew to hum so. Such love and passion can only come from the very top. So, thank you Nina and crew. The food was beautifully presented, and elegant in its simplicity. Not to say it wasn’t complex! It all just sang with such balance and love. ‘Twas Brilliant. Idk. Everything was amazing. I could ramble and such, but just go yourself. Experience true hospitality. Savor a meal executed flawlessly. Imbibe on cocktails that are art. Interact with beautiful people running a phenomenal restaurant. Just go live and enjoy the experience. We cannot thank you all enough crew spot on, Cheers!"

"This is one of my son’s favorite burger spots in Pittsburgh, so during my last visit, we decided to make it a family dinner outing. I have to agree with him—it’s an excellent place to enjoy a truly delicious burger! Their burgers come standard with house-made fresh chips, which are really good as well. This is a local Pittsburgh chain with locations in FOX CHAPEL WATERWORKS, NORTH FAYETTE THE POINTE, HOMESTEAD WATERFRONT, MURRYSVILLE BLUE SPRUCE, NORTH SHORE, MCCANDLESS CROSSING, CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PPG PAINTS ARENA, and HEINZ FIELD. One thing I was particularly excited about was the build-your-own burger experience, but I wasn't prepared for just how extensive the options were—wow! If you love cooking at home like I do, you'll appreciate the fantastic choices that allow you to customize your burger exactly to your liking. These are high-quality frozen patties—definitely no pink slime like those fast-food chains! They use all-natural, hormone-free Angus beef, which is ground and formed daily with their unique blend of sirloin, chuck, brisket, and short rib. With such a great base, the variety of options turns selecting your burger into a real adventure, and I took full advantage of it. 1. **PICK A BURGER**: - Hormone-Free Beef $12 - All-Natural Chicken $12 - Natural Bison $14.50 - Dry Aged Wagyu $14.50 - Chicken Breast $12 - Grass Fed Elk $14.50 - Fiddy-Fiddy (beef & bison blend) $13 - Vegan Veggie $12 - Impossible Burger $14 2. **PICK A BUN**: - Brioche - Local Grains - Pretzel - Potato - Lettuce Wrap - Gluten Free (+$1.50) - Topless (no bun) - Naked (no bun at all!) 3. **PICK A RUB**: - Angel Dust - Everything Bagel - Texas BBQ - Cracked Peppercorn - Bayou Cajun - Sweet Onion - Magic Mushroom - Diablo Dust 4. **GET CHEEZY (most cheeses $1, some $1.50)**: - White American - Sharp Provolone - Amish Gorgonzola ($1.50) - Smoked Gouda - Farmhouse Cheddar - Aged Gruyere ($1.50) - Horseradish Cheddar - Buffalo Cheddar - Cheddar Jack - Vegan Cheddar ($1.50) 5. **SAUCE IT UP (first sauce is free)**: - Bourbon BBQ - Honey Habanero - Butt... Overall, this burger joint is a must-visit if you’re looking for a satisfying meal with endless customization possibilities!"

"I was nervous about trying FogRose Atelier due to the negative reviews here, but decided to go with a friend and see if our experience would be different. We made a 1pm weekend reservation and had a lovely time.FogRose’s afternoon tea wasn’t quite as good as what I’ve had in Europe and Las Vegas; however, those places set the bar extremely high! I would still recommend making a reservation and going! It’s a nicely decorated, very elegant-looking restaurant.Positives: While most afternoon tea houses bring a full teapot, FogRose pours 1 cup of tea for you, but allows unlimited refills. I actually preferred this because we were able to try several different types of tea during our reservation instead of having to finish a full teapot first. The sandwiches and desserts were light but filling. My favorites were the egg benedict and the smoked salmon and cucumber sandwich. I wish the scone had been more of a true scone instead of a sweet biscuit but that’s just a personal preference. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly, and we were greeted as soon as we walked in.Negatives: Finding this place is a little confusing. It would be great if they had a sign on the sidewalk like other nearby restaurants directing you to go upstairs. The sign above the door is hard to notice if you aren’t looking upward. My friend and I both got confused trying to find the entrance.Overall, we had a great experience and would go back again."
