The menu was quite uninspired, with choices that could be described as mundane. The meat and cheese board was reminiscent of something you'd find in a college dorm common room. While the Brussels sprouts were decent, they were served with just a teaspoon, lacking imagination. The burger and waffle were good, but overall, the food felt very average and did not reflect any care in its preparation. I'm still trying to understand the concept behind the restaurant. There was a large rack of children's games at the host stand, which is curious for a bar located downtown next to a college. As for the staff, they seemed very casual; what I assumed was the manager appeared to be more interested in his dog than in attending to the customers. I’ll give them 10 months to improve."
