"This restaurant offers excellent, authentic Chinese food that hasn't been Americanized. You know it's a good spot when it's bustling with Asian clientele, and you're the only non-Asian there. The hot and sour soup is loaded with vegetables and has a fantastic mushroom base (in response to the review below about its color – the yellow is an additive, but here, the hot and sour soup is made with a mushroom base and cornstarch; they don't use artificial colors, except perhaps in the sweet and sour sauce). The Mandarin beef is definitely delicious, not overly salty, and packed with great flavor. A friend of mine from mainland China used to prepare similar dishes for me, and this place does it just right. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that doesn't cater to Americanized tastes like Pei Wei or similar chains. Two thumbs up!"
