"Warning: Although the atmosphere is full of history, the service is lacking and the food is awful. My husband and I went for our anniversary recently and it will be our first and last time. We only had water, skipped appetizers and dessert, yet our bill came to $100.64 with a mandatory 22% gratuity charge. We had to wait at the hotel's front desk to be seated for our 5:30 reservation because there was no hostess or staff in the restaurant. Once seated, we were served one mediocre roll each by the waitress. We decided to order the Parmesan Spinach Ravioli for $29 each and added grilled chicken for $10 each. However, when the food arrived just 5 minutes later (impressive timing), it was a major disappointment. The ravioli was lackluster with only 6 small raviolis, a few raw vegetables, and a flat piece of chicken that seemed pre-cooked. The sauce was watery and the filling of the ravioli was grainy. It felt like a frozen, low-quality meal from a warehouse store. The service was also not up to par, with the waitress only coming back after 20 minutes when we asked for the check. Although everyone was friendly, the food was subpar and the service did not warrant a 22% tip. Save your money and dine elsewhere if you plan on visiting the Graylyn Estate."
