"First off, truly great service. Our host was on top of everything as you 'd want to expect for a fun/proper/engaging dinner service. Had great recommendations and adjusted accordingly once she realized what we were looking for. The food itself is what 's driving this review. My pasta dish was actually barely lukewarm. The sauce itself was slightly on the salty side. And the flower felt weird for an Italian spot (personal opinion but yeah took away from the dish). The truffle mushroom had a nice taste but the salty sauce was overwhelming. The seafood pasta (orange sauce in picture) was great minus the sauce again. The filling was delicious and just right in terms of mix or salmon/shrimp/crab but the sauce fell flat. Did not help or take away from the pasta overall but made the dish underwhelming. We had an appetizer (not pictured since we scarfed it down) that was actually really good. Freshly made tigelle buns that you use to assemble your own essentially finger sandwiches with thinly sliced prosciutto and parmesan. The papardelle ragu seemed bland. Besides the sweet sausage, the dish had no true flavor. The cheese was added on after the fact in hopes of enhancing the dish. Wine selection was also just okay. Bottle options looked great but by the glass were limited. DESSERT: We had gotten the chocolate walnut cake with salted caramel ice cream. The ice cream tasted more like toffee than caramel. If it was listed as a toffee ice cream, wouldn 't have thought twice but it just made the dish taste off when you 're expecting caramel and keep tasting something closer to butterscotch or toffee. Overall typical lava cake and ice cream kind of dessert but elevated. OVERALL: worth a try as the place is popular but temper expectations. Apps look much much better than pasta in terms of execution."

"Visited on valentines day as a date. No reservation was held even though it was made online through open table. Staff seemed disoriented and confused, disconnected, and unprepared. We were seated 45 minutes late to a table in their glass, closed in patio section that was rather cold with no silverware, plating, decorations or menus. A rushed waiter set the table in front of us, didn 't give us water. They eventually filled our glasses, but did not provide us with a water bottle like every other table had. They brought us food menus after 15 minutes without asking us if we wanted any drinks other than water, and didn 't return until another 15 minutes when we placed an appetizer order. After not receiving a drink menu, we walked up to the bar to order. Bartender was apologetic, friendly, and got us drinks, while wait staff confusedly asked why we were at the bar, saying that they didn 't know we had closed our tab . I explained that we never received drink menus nor were asked to place drink orders, the waiter apologized and said that they 'd bring us the drinks. Once he walked them over, he reminded himself about the fra diavolo we ordered and almost walked away, but we asked to order our entrees since it had now been about an hour. He took our order and brought back the appetizer about 10 minutes later but had informed us that they were out of my first and second choice off the menu. I went with my third option, and they brought out our entrees after around 20 minutes after my reordered entrée. The salmon was okay, the mango/fruit sauce it was placed on was delicious. My date had gnocchi bolognese, which they also said was okay. Overall, decent food was not worth the terrible service or ridiculous price. Waiter double charged us for drinks though we only ordered one round, which we had to remove from our check about 3 hours after we arrived."
