"One of my very favorite eating establishments in the City of SF. The portions are very generous, without being overwhelming. The food here is consistently delicious. I would attribute this to the focused attention of Eat Americana 's talented, knowledgeable chef James Moisey, and his attentive preparation and inspired execution of an interesting variety of dishes available on this well thought out, creative take on an all american menu. According to the 'San Francisco Fact Sheet ': There are 4,415 restaurants in San Francisco 54 of those restaurants have Michelin stars The average tip is 15-18% of total check at a restaurant The #1 activity for tourists is visiting restaurants, ahead of “shopping” “visiting a park” “visiting friends and family” San Francisco has been lauded as one of the top food cities in the country, perhaps in the world. Even with the large number of 'favorite ' restaurants I have continued to patronize over time (many established for years, others new in the past 3-18 months) this remains the restaurant I return to most consistently in this past year. Go once and I guarantee you will return time and time again and bring your family and friends."
