"This was our first visit to Fhima's, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our waiter, Marshall inquired whether we had concert plans for the evening (we did). He did a great job of pacing our meal so that our food was presented in a timely manner and we were able to get to our concert at just the right time. My hubs and I shared 3 different entrees and each was superb! The scallops with parmesan and saffron risotto, duck confit hash, and short ribs with sweet potato mousse were all tasty and nicely plated and presented. I could have licked the risotto and sweet potato mousse plates! The short ribs were garnished with a tuft of cotton candy-not needed in my opinion. Entrees were small enough to be a smaller plate meal; they were just right to share (2 scallops, 2 short ribs, etc). We finished off with sharing creme brulee which was actually brulee'd at the table. A fun way to end our meal! We enjoyed a few drinks off of their seasonal menu-hubs had 2 drinks featuring mezcal-the Nib Slip and Smoke in Her Eyes-this was presented table side in a smoke filled decanter. I had the Dead &Lovely-I actually saved this drink to drink with dessert as it is a sweeter drink with heavy cinnamon notes. Service was prompt and attentive, although it did taper off a bit as the restaurant became busier. Not a deal changer by any means, though. The wait staff seems to function well as a team with most tasks, which is nice to see. We had a very nice visit to Fhima's. The variations in presentation of drinks and food makes the experience interesting and fun! Pricing was fair for the food and service levels. The attention to the small details was apparent. Well done!"

"Our waitress asked if we wanted to order anything from the bar and my niece said she wanted Duxoup Sangiovese then the waitress said we have wild rice soup.. ?? We ordered pheasant strips for an appetizer and there was more garnish on the plate than food. My niece had the strawberry salad with sirloin steak added...BEAUTIFUL presentation and delicious as well. I ordered the filet with baked potatoes and green beans.. Delicious, cooked perfectly(medium rare), baked potato was brownish and unappealing. While we were eating our waitress came and asked if we needed anything, we said no but then she took the bread basket(we hadn 't even opened) from our table??? the next trip back to our table she, once again asked if we needed anything. I asked for our bread back and she rolled her eyes and said she threw it and she had to make another loaf,, it would be another 10-15 minutes.. I have to say this is the only bad experience I have had with any wait staff at your restaurant.. Duncan and Lindsey were the best wait staff for 10 Main... Sincerely, Lori Johnson"

"I'm disappointed, but for the wrong reason. It is a very nice Irish restaurant/bar that has a lot of history behind it. The food was so delicious I got fish and chips the fish was huge and delicious especially with vinegar and tartar sauce, it paired well with Guinness dark beer, they have other Irish inspired dishes for example my favorite thing that I saw on the menu(minus of fish and chips) was potato leek soup. It is disappointing that this place has been the first time since all these years that I have ever been there, and unfortunately it will be the last time that they will constantly close doors there. I recommend that if you want to support local Minnesota restaurant visit this place before they close doors there and if you have a regular or know of this place and loved how I would now be a good time to visit. They are also very cleanly prepared and do not forget this mask or they cannot let you in."

"our group of four have eaten several times at the lakeshore grill and have always enjoyed eating. Unfortunately, this has changed when we recently went to dinner on 3/14. there were problems with four of the four dinners (three of them were from the celebrate seafood menu): popovers: the first batch was overdue. the second charge was a little better. clam chowder: watery, not creamy, not much taste crab and shrimp louie salad: ok tasting, but only a garnel on the teller beer battered wild alaskan Cod:(2) coleslaw: very bitter fish tasted as if it were too long roasted in old oil also had a problem with the teig. I had to get the fish out. found bree capsules in broccoli lakeshore redisserie chicken platter: chicken good. side of the green bean greasy. our server was efficient and knowledgeable. honestly, we did not complain about eating at dinner because the lists would have been overwhelming. because of this dinner we really need to think twice about going back to the lakeshore grill."

"A family member picked this place, and I would honestly have avoided it. It 's...in a Macy 's. Which made my mind go to mediocre mall food. I 'm remarkably tolerant of mediocre food, mind, due to the amount of time I spend in convention hotels, so I didn 't argue. I was...pleasantly...surprised. We were there on Valentine 's Day and not as a couple, but got there early enough that they still had room for four people. The menu reminded me of one of those convention hotels in that it seemed to have some difficulty establishing what it was, but that also meant they had something for everyone. Our waiter was solid, if a little frazzled but I put that down to it being V Day. Food came out at a good speed and everything we ordered was excellent. Normally, I 'd only recommend a mall restaurant to shoppers, but really, Lakeshore Grill is just surprisingly excellent. (It may have got an extra star for the surprise)."
