"However, I found the fries to be disappointing, as they felt like an essential accompaniment that should come with a sandwich or pack. The menu now features Mediterranean options, along with Chicago-style Italian Beef Sandwiches and a variety of excellent salad combinations. They also offer create-your-own pasta dishes and the thin-crust pizza slices I saw looked much improved in appearance. Overall, this place seems to embody the essence of authentic Italian cuisine, making it a great spot for dining in or takeout. The Royal Chicken pack was exceptional. While I wasn't particularly impressed with their pizza, the new Mediterranean items are a fantastic addition. As always, the service was friendly and welcoming. I have a strong affection for this place; it's among my favorites. Just a note: the opening hours listed on Google are incorrect. They are Sunday to Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 11 PM."

"As a New Yorker, a self-proclaimed enthusiast, and someone who enjoys good food, I feel fully qualified to say that this place serves the best pizza I’ve ever had. I went on a two-week pizza tour around New York, sampling pizza for every meal from various spots, and I can confidently say that this pizza stands out above the rest—it's a solid 10 out of 10. If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor and give it a shot; you definitely won’t regret it. I usually order the large cheese pizza for $20 and add my own toppings at home to save some cash (although the prices here are reasonable; I’m just a bit strapped for cash)."

"Apollo's in the east is our go-to spot for ordering food and I highly recommend it. We have tried their various pizzas, strombolis (a big fan of the whisper), and just now, as I write this, the gyro plate! I would share a photo, but I ate it too quickly. The orders are always on time and I have never had any issues with the quality of the food. The portion sizes are perfect and the food tastes delicious. I definitely recommend ordering from Apollo's! Note: They are closed on Sundays."
