"I went to this restaurant after a concert at the Shoreline Amphitheater and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan options on their menu. The restaurant was bustling with customers, and I was impressed to find out that they are open until 1am. I tried the veggie fried rice, which I would rate an 8/10, as well as the mixed veggie pakora, which I would rate a 9/10. The sauces that came with the pakora were also delicious, earning an 8/10 rating. The tomato soup and naan bread both exceeded my expectations, with perfect 10/10 ratings. Overall, it was a fantastic meal that left me feeling satisfied and nourished. I will definitely be returning next time I attend a concert at Shoreline Amphitheater."

"I strongly advise against dining here unless you are Indian, as it seems that the staff treats Indian patrons much better. Our experience with the service was quite disappointing! To start, we waited an incredible 40 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Although we ordered six meals, only one dish was served initially, and it came without the accompanying rice. After another 30 minutes, three more dishes finally appeared. My mother had ordered goat curry but was mistakenly served lamb curry instead, and we had to wait another 30 minutes for the last two dishes to arrive. By this time, the rest of our group had already finished their meals. We also found ourselves repeatedly requesting more water and ice, which took another 15 minutes to arrive. The food itself was nothing special—mediocre at best. When we received the bill, we discovered that we still hadn’t received the rice for the first dish, despite asking for it multiple times. To make matters worse, when we attempted to pay with a credit card, we were hit with a credit card fee. Additionally, there was an "Administration fee" included on the bill, which turned out to be a hidden gratuity that had already been added. They even had the nerve to include a separate tip section on the bill! This was our first and last visit to this restaurant."

"Been here twice now. Both times the food has been very good. I've ordered a gyro, tandoori wrap, fries, and baklava. I was actually surprised at the quality and overall flavor from a place that has a drive-thru window. Granted, my expectations lower when I see a drive-thru, Kabob Korner is worth a visit. The staff is friendly and their meals are served quickly. You can definitely come here and eat on a 30 min lunch break. The gyro was delish. I ordered it spicy, and I recommend you do the same. It's got enough heat to be noticeable, but not overpowering. The tandoori wrap had a nice flavor and just the right amount of heat. I preferred the gyro though. The fries are crispy, but pretty standard. Nothing wrong with them, but nothing to brag about either of. The baklava is superb. Sweet, crunchy, and crispy. Definitely recommend trying Kabob Korner out."

"We have been frequenting Porto Falafel for several years now. The restaurant is currently under new ownership, but we're pleased that they still offer delivery to Summit, which is a definite bonus. Our favorite dish is still the Family Mixed Grill, which provides enough food for a family of 4. The assortment of lamb chops, kofta, kebabs, and shwarma served with rice, salad, and pita is delicious. While the falafel may not be as good as it used to be, we will give it another try to confirm if it was just an off day."

"If I could give zero stars I would. Me and my best friend were looking forward to dining here on a Sunday evening, when my friend originally walked in they told her it would be 10 mins for 2 people. As I walked in after parking they approached us and said they unfortunately did not have space for 2 people. They said they only had 6 person table available and 4 person table available.We looked around and no one was waiting, the place looked fairly empty.I asked if we could sit at one of those tables that were available and they said no.Very disappointed by this service, as I walked out I reminded them that they just lost business by not seating us.Me and my friend ended up going to Chili Curry instead and it was delightful!0/10 do not recommended Lotus."

"This venue is a nice-size place for hosting a party, but I will NEVER return. The food was good, and the servers were courteous, but the management needs to take client requests more seriously. The manager, Mamun, provided excellent service initially, but once he was paid, he seemed to rush us throughout the event. We had a lot of leftovers since some guests didn’t show up, and another 20-25 people could have easily eaten the extra food. However, when we asked for take-home boxes, he only packed enough for 5-7 people and claimed he threw the rest away. When I spoke to one of the servers, they exchanged guilty looks and suggested I speak to the manager. I can't help but feel they might be saving food for the next event. It was unfortunate that some of my family members had to eat pizza when we got home because we didn’t have enough food, despite making multiple requests. Manager Mamun kept pushing us to invite more guests since they charge per head and assured us we could take any leftovers. However, he did not follow through on that promise. Additionally, they did not serve the Lassi that was promised beforehand. I hope this review encourages the owner and management to make better decisions in the future. Please don’t lose your customers over these poor choices. Thank you."

"before you had eaten at a coveted event. it was delicious and fresh. tonight I decided to order my husband birthday as a nice family meal by a doorschur. Eat came fast and warm, but it didn't taste fresh and we both are sick now. the hunch 65 had a fired stalk taste. husband asked twice if it was chicken65. the Tandoori chicken I find it hard to do with legs. the roasted okra had no crunch on it and broken over. also the rice tasted. only those who were decent were the cauliflower and naan . very disappointed when he had eaten this food for his birthday and it was a huge farewell. we will probably not return."

"I tried to take a picture of the hookah menu, but it was quickly removed from my reach. The menu itself is quite limited, offering just two tobacco options, one being Al-Waha. I looked everywhere for that menu and think it would be beneficial for the manager or owner to post it online or on their Facebook page. While they didn’t have ice tips available, they were very accommodating and added ice directly to the base instead. The server was friendly and made sure to check on me regularly. The hookah was smaller than what I’m used to, but it functioned perfectly. The food was outstanding, and I particularly enjoyed the pistachio baklava. I found it interesting that they started my hookah with coconut coals and later switched to instant coals. Everything I ordered arrived very quickly. There weren’t many customers during my visit. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely return!"

"Friends said that they had discovered an excellent Indian restaurant in the area, so we joined them for dinner at the Pawans Indian Kitchen. Before going to the restaurant I checked the reviews here and in oher sites and the vast majority of the reviews were excellent and near excellent. I was therefore eager to try it. It is a small restaurant with at the most 36 places and decorated with modest furniture, so the ambiance is very domestic and simple. Moreover, for some unknown reason they have a television hanging from the ceiling with no sound. It does not add to the atmosphere and is a visual interference. If they wanted a tv in the premises they could at least have it playing Indian dances and music.I found that it was not such a good value as each plate is around CAD$17 or 18 with addition of naam and something to drink. We were four people and two of us had just tap water. In the end the bill before tip came to CAD$80. We had no dessert. As for the food, I ordered a lamb dish which was just ok while another person ordered a chicken dish which was a little dry. I won't think I will go there again as there are many Indian restaurants in the area. A better one is the Swad Indian restaurant in West Vancouver with a better ambiance and food. It would cost about the same or a little more but it offers a better meal experience. I was disappointed with this restaurant and cannot understand why it has been getting so many excellent reviews."

"Let me begin by saying, I am not a fan of Greek food or gyros. We were here from Knoxville and my husband saw this as it was 5 minutes from our hotel. The reviews were also great so I gave it a try. I was AMAZED! My husband had a gyro platter with drink and fries, which were seasoned and great too. I chose the teriyaki chicken pita with grilled peppers and onions in a pita. I can't understand why we were the only patrons in the restaurant as the food was wonderful ? and the portions were HUGE. I had enough to go. The employees were very kind as well. We visit Nashville often and this will DEFINITELY be a favorite on our list when we return."

"This restaurant is small and not very fancy. The location uptown is larger and offers more options, from what I remember. Today, I had a quinoa bowl which was satisfying, although not very creatively made. Looking back, I probably should have chosen a more fast-food style dish, as that seems to be their specialty. The prices here are not very low, and there are actually several other vegan restaurants nearby that are better. However, I am glad to support any restaurant with vegan in its name."

"Affordable and tasty! I was here with some coworkers on a business trip and we ended up visiting this place after a local coworker's recommendation, and it was absolutely perfect! We ordered quite a few different types of curries ranging from chicken tikka masala to butter chicken curry to the biryani, etc. and more. Granted I am not nearly as well-versed with Indian cuisine, but since we ordered many different dishes, we tried a bit of each others' dishes, and everything was a hit! Eventually, we got the mango ice cream as dessert and that was delicious as well! I have not tried that many places in Green Bay, but to me this one is one that must be visited when in town!"
