She provided us with a comprehensive list of traditional Brazilian desserts, complete with detailed descriptions of each one and helpful tips regarding ingredient availability and substitutions. My husband and I left with a great selection of desserts to choose from, including various combinations for our wedding.
We then submitted our choices and scheduled a tasting. As I anticipated, the tasting was delightful, and Ah La was even able to create the Bem-Casados that we wanted as wedding favors. After the tasting, we finalized our selections, and Ah La took care of every detail for the preparation and delivery. She managed everything—from the little cup holders and packaging to creating detailed instructions for how to set up our passion fruit parfait for our caterer. Her level of professionalism and attention to detail is truly remarkable; she pours her heart into making everything perfect.
On our wedding day, the desserts were a massive hit! Guests absolutely loved them, and even those who weren’t familiar with Brazilian sweets were raving about how unique and delicious they were. The Bem-Casados turned out fantastic; I received countless compliments from guests about how impressed they were, and I must say they were the best I’ve ever tasted.
Working with Ah La and Café Patoro for our wedding was a phenomenal experience. Even though it was her first time catering some of the desserts we requested, I had complete confidence that she would execute everything beautifully.
