"I'm so so so happy that Laguna has a new sushi spot. I was sad that San Shi Go and 243 Sushi Laguna closed. Seabutter is a solid addition. The sushi is so fresh and the flavors are really delicious. We always order the Sunset roll, the Salmon Supreme, the Miss Salmon, the Crispy Albacore and the Yellowtail and Spicy Tun crispy rice. Hot house sake and Fried Green Tea ice cream with chocolate drizzle (good but would love crisper and warm tempura instead of cold) Honestly, everything is delicious! If I were to pick just one item. to get it would be The Sunset. I also love the 2 pc sushi the Yellowtail Belly is wonderful and Fatty Toro. The kids get Seabutter's version of a California Roll made with blue crab not imitation crab. They love it. They also love the Miss Salmon, the Beef Gyoza and the Garlic Edamame. We have tried the Hye, the Shiso Special, Yellowtail Scallion and the Tuna Explosion too! Love the fresh wasabi! Staff is great. The bus boys are really efficient, observant and kept out waters filled."

"Service was not great, we received our rolls before our appetizers and our waiter just fully forgot to put them in. They did eventually bring them out after we asked a different waiter that delivered our rolls, however the garlic edamame was not sautéed and was just chopped up raw garlic and some soy sauce since it was rushed out. The rolls were just ok and the crispy rice seemed stale. The price is great for this place I just wish everything else was better."

"Been going to this location since 2009 and it used to be great. Now- the wings are way overpriced, they put the larger wings on top then the majority are tiny so they throw them on the bottom so you don't even see them until you get home, they taste funny, they're over cooked, everything is fried in old/stale oil, the fries are always soggy and cold. We went on New Year's Eve and the fries taste like onion rings and the wings were just......horrible. No matter what time you show up your order isn't ready at the promised time or even 20 minutes after the promised time. You used to be able to see in the back where they were cooking but that is covered with a catering banner so who even knows what's going on back there with your food.It's really disappointing because the guy who is cooking has been there since we started going in 2009 and he's the main reason we have been going back. He's always been nice/polite to me and my kids, and he is always apologetic when we have to wait a while for our food. Seems like I've gone there numerous times and he is the only one taking orders, collecting payments, and making the food. The rest of the staff is just rude. I can't afford to pay almost $50 for 30 funny tasting wings and some cold soggy fries, not to mention the cost of the sauce. Everything in there is covered in layers of grease. It would be easier to look past that if the food was still good.The new owners need to shut down, renovate, do a DEEP clean of the whole restaurant, get rid of the fake jewelry/clothes/purses they're selling at the front of the restaurant, and add some chairs since we all wait so long for our food to be ready. Or buy the Dairy Queen next door so they can expand to double the size of the kitchen, hire more staff, buy actual catfish, and make better tasting food.When I was in high school, I used to go to the one by Walmart- because there was no other place to go, and haven't been back since this one opened. Now I'm thinking I might have to give them another try because where else can you get good wings around here (don't say Baba's....their food is trash)?"

"I agree that the prices are excessively high for the neighborhood. The portion sizes don’t justify the cost. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak meal, and as someone from Philly, I expected the long 13-inch hoagie bread we typically use. Instead, I received a roll that was barely larger than a hotdog bun, served in a small container along with a meager amount of fries that weren't even hot. The price was $11.00. While the hoagie was tasty, it was definitely not a true Philly cheesesteak. It feels like they're taking advantage of the neighborhood. I understand the limited options here, which is why we end up ordering from this place."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and, unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. I ordered onion rings, corn on the cob, red beans and rice, collard greens, and a 20-piece whole wing. The prices were reasonable considering how expensive things can be these days. However, the collard greens were lacking in flavor, and my spouse, who really enjoys red beans and rice, had to add seasoning to make it taste better. The corn was tasty but seemed overcooked, and the chicken portions were on the small side. I'm not sure if I'll return."

"I just had my first meal at this restaurant and was immediately impressed when I opened the small fish dinner box—there was much more food than I expected! I loved the catfish, fries, and cheese curds (thankfully battered instead of breaded) and ate until I couldn't anymore, which is unusual for me since I can typically finish everything on my plate. I definitely recommend this place if you enjoy fried fish and cheese curds, and I'm looking forward to trying more items from their menu in the future."

"The service was terrible! There were only two tables in the dining area, yet the waitstaff were just sitting around on their phones! We ended up clearing our own napkins and extra dishes from the next table, and to top it off, we were overcharged! They seemed to notice the complaints, but management really needs to address this issue urgently. Your only response to negative reviews is to check the address; instead, focus on improving your service and we’ll be more likely to return!"
