A flavorful blend of fried rice with veggies, eggs, and choice of meats all mixed to perfection.

"Had I known I would've chosen another restaurant... what the F¿ did I just attempt to eat? I did not open the reviews prior to going in and ordering... I just seen the star rating and decided to give them a try. Well first it's overpriced... gummy rice and old soy sauce that taste like hand sanitizer or something is mixed in it State Health Dept Please). I kept one pack to make sure I don't have any kind of reaction. I had to throw it in the garbage. Waste of time and money...#trash"

"Legends franchise is all about the SAUCE! A good mix of Guyanese Chinese but lacks to authentic flavor compared to the other Guyanese restaurants. I had the spicy Lamb and jerk chicken wings with fried rice. This was good but not excellent.Additionally, restaurant was empty on a Friday night and it took one hour to get food on top of the waitress making a mistake onour order. Service is terrible and kitchen takes forever to make food! They lack the grounds to be a successful restaurant.Should take note from Caribbean cabana and the next. Way better service and food!"

"I was really REALLY looking forward to this buffet. The last time I had Indian buffet was in 2019 nearby Philadelphia and I thought it was tasteless. The last good Indian buffet I had was at the golden peacock at the venetian hotel in Macau and taj mahal hotel buffet in new Delhi. Paid $25 including tip.Maybe this is a one off but after the meal, I had diarrhea immediately afterwards. I immediately thought it might be the water but had to remind myself I am in NYC.The food was a disappointment. Everything that I tried, but the tandoori chicken, lacked Indian flavor. For instance, I felt like I was eating pink sauce rather than a masala tomato cream sauce. Chicken was moist and tender though. The palek paneer tasted one dimensional, the paneer was good. The dal tadek felt slightly authentic (like a free non veg meal at a Indian temple) but I don't come to Indian buffet to just enjoy lentils.... The goat curry was ok. I didn't try the egg fried rice even though it looked really good. The naan was thin crispy and good. Didn't try the vegetable samosa. The Gulab Jamun was ok, could've been more tender, lacked the rosewater and butter flavor that I'm accustomed to.Service was really good. Very accommodating.Atmosphere I rated lower because it was warm and humid inside the restaurant. I was sweating constantly. Probably won't go back to eating Indian buffet for a very long time unless I'm traveling to India or Macau."

"Made a quick stop in Bakersfield. I’m not from the area. Looked up a sushi spot and seen this restaurant with great reviews. We got seated quickly and was later notified of “happy hour menu”. We’re a family of 6 and the food was given to us in a timely manner. Long story short, who ever ate sushi got sick. Only the kiddos didn’t (they chicken teriyaki and rice). "I'm really disappointed with the decline in quality at Hibiscus. The food has gotten worse, and they keep raising the prices. Recently, my dad, who has been buying fried rice from there for years, had a terrible experience with stale and cold rice. It made him sick for a whole week. I strongly advise against eating there because the quality has seriously gone down, and it can be a risk to your health. The restaurant has a dirty and cramped atmosphere, and the staff is always rude and inattentive. Hibiscus used to be the best West Indian restaurant in Queens Village, but now it's not doing well. It's important not to support a place that serves bad and old food. I also found out that the restaurant received nine violations from the New York State Health Department on January 25, 2023. These violations include things like not having the proper food safety certification, not properly cleaning food contact surfaces, having evidence of mice, not maintaining proper food temperatures, and not keeping the establishment free from pests. They also had issues with dishwashing and sanitization of utensils and equipment."

"Chino Latino cuisine is still thriving in NYC, and I couldn't resist trying it. The braised sole was incredibly moist; my fork hardly needed to make an effort as it effortlessly cut through the fish. The buttery sauce complemented the rice beautifully, and the side salad served as a refreshing palate cleanser. To enhance the dish, there were crispy fried bits on top that added delightful texture. I can't wait to try the steak on my next visit!"

"Ordered my food today at 2:11. I got here at 2 :39 and my food is not ready. So I ask if I can order jalapeno poppers. She said it would be ten extra minutes so I changed my mind and payed for the food. 30 minutes was the estimate. Its 258 and my food just got started. As a fellow chef I can understand it gets difficult when miltiple orders are displayed. So 2 stars for good food but extra wait. I'm still waiting.. In my car. I walked in at 3 only to see nothing is done yet."

"Had a great experience, the service was amazing, the man who served us did a great job. They had these hot hand towels they gave to you to use before you ordered food which I thought was nice, also they have their own water mix that tasted really good, I wasn’t really playing attention of what he said was in it, but it was delicious. Now only have two complaints which the first one would be that the chicken in basic chicken fried rice, was really dry, everything else about it was great but the chicken was definitely over cooked so it made it unenjoyable. The other food we had was great as well, but the only other complaint I’d have is the drink I order wasn’t the best either, I ordered their Strawberry Mule and it just tasted like straight Strawberry Rum and sour, couldn’t taste the ginger beer at all and didn’t have any carbonation in it. Other than those things the place was good, the views were lovely and I enjoyed the interior and the set of up the place. I’d recommend you guys give it a try for the experience and maybe the food will be different. Still a great place. "Outside dining was fabulous. A nice breeze. Live music in the center of the courtyard. Wasn’t too loud… we were still quite able to have nice conversations without out having to raise our voices. The outside seating was completely full. Only two servers and one bus person from what I observed, but they hustled and were gracious and attentive. Our food was fabulous. Definitely will recommend to others and will return."

"Anyone craving for authentic Bhutun fry goat fried inner part) please check this place out, their Bhutun is divine. Perfect texture and balance of masalas. What a pity that the service does not accompany the high quality of the cooking. You can hardly get a smile out of the waitresses.Thankfully the guy server, a middle-aged charming man, is always around willing to exchange some kind words with all his clients. We ordered five different type of Thalis and a set of chickentaas which were equally delicious. Out of all , only drawback of the whole set of food was alo cauliflower very flavorless. So far I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and had a pleasant dining experience with food."

"Writing this review as I sit in the restaurant disappointed… First off service is slow. It took about 15 minutes To get offered drinks… I had to ask the hostess, my waitress (no name) didn’t introduce herself just placed menus on the table. She seems very uninterested in serving us. She never checked on us in between drinks and the food. NOW for the food…. General tos chicken was mediocre at best. we ate it because we were starving. The house special rice with chicken, it had NO flavor the rice grains were tough/hard the shrimp pork sausage medley in the rice also had NO FLAVOR…. HOW.? And the pina Colada taste like a childs drink mix. Cheaply made. Will not be back"

"This is an amazing sushi spot! I ordered the bento box, and I was surprised to find that the California rolls had avocado in them, which I’m allergic to. However, the staff were incredibly kind and made me a new batch without avocado! Everything else I tried was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the great mix of music they were playing. I will definitely be back for more!"

"If you want to eat the worst possible version of Indian/Nepali cuisine, then this is the place to go. The most basic gravy you can order butter masala how is it possible to ruin it? It was a watery, oily mess with oil floating on top, and a ton of chilli powder added. God knows what recipe this is. This is the simplest dish to make and a universally popular dish and it was so badly done, we could not eat it. AWFUL! I felt terrible to waste food and money but I would end up with some health issues if I had eaten it. Have some pride in your food and profession! This was inedible. I tried to call you back to get talk to you about this but you were closed. Will return tomorrow to speak with in person."

"Haven’t shared a review here in a while so here is one-A lot of people recommended Chopsticks, Edison in comments so I decided to give it a try.The food was oily, could smell peanut oil.Good portion size, but didn’t taste any good. The pepper in chilly chicken wont fit in anyones mouth! When you have to pay $20 per dish for a takeout, for not so good food. You ask yourself whats the hype about? In my opinion Desi Chinese is so much better at spice culture, calcutta wok and kumar soni plaza in edison. Not going back."

"I'm not usually a fan of Chinese food—not that I dislike it, as the culture is charming! Now, onto the review. This restaurant is Halal and only accepts cash, with gratuity automatically added to the bill. The Lollipop Chicken is the standout appetizer here! The Singapore Noodles are authentic and delicious, while the Chicken Manchurian is a solid 5 out of 3. The corn soup was just okay. Overall, the food was excellent, Alhamdulillah. The atmosphere was a bit lacking when we arrived, but I was distracted by two lovely women at the table nearby, which brightened my day. Thank you to them for making my experience more enjoyable!"
