"Ordered via DoorDash. My order consisted of Honey Chicken with a side of Lobster fried rice. My order was delivered well within the time frame given in the app. The food was well packaged- the saucy Honey Chicken was placed in a good quality plastic, rectangular take-out container reusable-bonus! the side of Lobster Fried Rice was packaged in the typical little pint-sized Asian take-out box. Both arrived nice hot. They included several packets of soy sauce, duck sauce, fortune cookies, a plastic fork, although I didn't request them. A nice touch. The Honey Chicken was absolutely delicious! The coating on the chicken was nice crunchy even though it was swimming in a very generous amount of sauce. The sauce was perfect-very sweet the way I like it, with just the right amount of tanginess. The Lobster Fried Rice was AMAZING! The rice itself was fresh fluffy, the veggies peas, carrots, onion, were cooked to perfection, and THE LOBSTER! They were generous with the amount, it was very nicely cooked-not at all rubbery! The appearance aroma were quite appetizing but the taste was outstanding.I do my homework prior to ordering from a takeout place that I haven't tried before after reading all of them, I must say I was cautiously hopeful. I was expecting mediocre at best, but this place has proved to me that they are worth my repeat buisness."

"Tried this place for the first time, and it was terrible, I should have known better when I placed the order and I asked how long, the lady said (TEN MINUTES!!! that was a red flag, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I order chicken and broccoli, chicken wings and shrimp lo mein. Upon picking up the food, noticed that the Chicken Wings were (Discolored You know, like old (Chicken not (FRESH , no spice, just dry. The chicken and broccoli was unflavored, no delicious brown gravy, lots of oil in the bottom and the rice, was hard and (NOT FRESH . The LO MEIN, ah man, I'm done, this is what (10 Minutes Gets You . This is my opinion, if you like non-fresh, dry and unflavored food, then this place is for you. I love fresh flavored and savory dishes, and this place isn't for me! Vegetarian options: N/A"

"Did take out, and decided to eat here due to the high reviews. The food was disgusting. The salmon was over cooked, chicken was dry and flavorless. The rice was really hard. Vegetables were mediocre. First time eating here and it will be our last. $130 wasted Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3"

"The prices at this restaurant don't reflect the quality or quantity of the food served. For a $14 Mongolian beef dish, one would expect a substantial amount of beef. However, the container was mostly filled with sauce and onions, with only a sparse amount of beef mixed in. Searching for the meat felt like an ordeal, as I had to sift through an overwhelming amount of chopped onion. It's just not acceptable to charge such high prices and serve such meager portions. Additionally, the flavor did not live up to the price tag. The other items were average at best. Overall, I ended up spending nearly $50 for a beef dish, an appetizer, lo mein, and fried rice—definitely not worth it. I won't be returning."

"We were a party of 7 and got seated right away. Our server came and took our drink order. We placed our orders when the drinks were delivered. Soon after the chef came with his cart and our food. The food preparation was fantastic. We were all very pleased with the food. We all agreed that this is definitely a place we need to revisit. "This was the worst experience I have ever had ordering food. First I called to order and was hung up on, which easily could have been a mistake, but it happened a second time after I had to call back. I finally was able to place my order after the 3rd attempt and was told 15 min for food. When I arrived 20 minutes later the only thing that had been prepared were my egg rolls. Nobody else was in the shop and the two workers weren 't preparing any orders. It took nearly 3 minutes before my presence was even acknowledged and another 5 before anyone approached to ask what I was there for! I know the food was fresh because I saw it being prepared, but I almost wish it hadn 't been. At least that would explain the blandness and overall poor quality. My wife and my chicken fried rice literally had ONE piece of chicken in it. My shrimp with lobster sauce was all sauce and no shrimp and was extremely bland. I do not know if this place has changed ownership, but there is no way the other reviews come even remotely close to describing this place as an enjoyable experience. We will certainly never be going back."

"Ichiban wants to be a Japanese restaurant, I think, but they do too good a job on Chinese food—and the entire Peninsula has been suffering for good Chinese food since Steve Hsieh died and the Ming Gate in Hampton shut down a-many years ago now. So I have I think always ordered Chinese food at Ichiban—and usually Peking Duck, although today the price is through the roof at $49.00, AND apparently now you have to make an ADVANCE RESERVATION if you want to order it. Which I found out Monday night, January 10, 2022, when Sheila and I arrived hungry and cold and grateful to find a good restaurant open on a Monday night. Also on the menu BUT NOT REQUIRING AN ADVANCE RESERVATION is Ichiban’s House Special Crispy Duck with Chinese Vegetables, with sides of fried rice and wonton soup. So I ordered that, and Sheila ordered Moo Shu Chicken, which was accompanied only by the traditional pancakes. All the food was very good, and it was comforting on a cold night to be dining once more at Ichiban, which has always proved dependable, and occasionally inspired. I sense they are painfully understaffed during the plague, but the waiter raced around most energetically, refilling our cups of very good green tea twice during the course of the evening. I only noticed my deep-fried Crispy Duck chunks were warm rather than hot when served, but Sheila’s Moo Shu Chicken was quite hot, so that was all right! Both dishes were quite generous in size, but I was very hungry and ate everything on my plate. Sheila was satisfied to take half of her food home for later. Mention was made by another reviewer of the “old-fashioned” interior, so I did take one photograph to give you an idea of the present dining area layout. Ichiban is scrupulously clean and all the staff wear their masks as if they were well aware of the value of keeping themselves and their customers healthy. A nice place to visit!"

"We stopped in because we were starving and happened to be in the mood for some crab and boy am I glad that we did. So, you walk in and it 's selfie heaven with various spots to get your social media hits up. But we weren 't there for the sweet foto op 's, we were hangry . So we started with some hush puppies. Say what?? Crunchy outside, creamy inside sweet corn yumminess with a fantastic honey butter dipping sauce that melts in your mouth. I could have eaten that all night but, of course, we had to get crab. They ran out of king crab but we had some Dungenous Crab and Snow crab. I 've never had something served on a plate within a bag so when you pop that bag open- that delicious smell makes your mouth water and the fun begins. We took this down in about 15 minutes. You can choose your flavors and your heat and I loved it. But wait....there 's more. There 's a DJ and a dance floor. You heard me.. you want some dinner, some drinks (they have a full bar) and done dancing. Here 's your spot. We haven 't had this much fun in a while and we will be back. This was a true find in the most precarious spot. It 's in a strip mall. That 's right.. a strip mall. The best places are always those secret spots. Dang, I 'm craving it just thinking about it. Gotta go, Yelpers. Gonna get more crab!! Highly recommend for a great night of fun, drinks, dancing and getting a little messy with done crab. No judgement here. Lol Dig in!!"

"This restaurant consistently impresses me! I wanted to mention that I usually order from here through UberEats. Typically, I start with a tip of $0 to $3 before my driver arrives, and once they do, I often increase it to 20% or even more for exceptional service. However, this time I faced an issue with the UberEats app, which didn't allow me to tip at all! Instead of receiving updates about my driver picking up my order or on their way, it looked like someone from Sushi Sumo delivered my meal instead. I feel terrible for not being able to tip this person, and I wish there was a way to compensate them. When I eventually get a chance to visit in person—if my hectic schedule permits—I’ll definitely keep this in mind. The food here is always delicious and incredibly fresh. While the prices might be a bit on the higher side, you truly get what you pay for in terms of quality. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to others, and I sincerely apologize again for not being able to tip through UberEats!"

"The waiting area was very unclean, which isn't a great first impression for customers. All the prices on the menus were crossed out, which was confusing. The person who took my order was rude. The General Tso's chicken was overcooked and quite disappointing. The rice was bland and not good at all. I definitely won't be ordering from here again. I'm relieved I couldn't see the kitchen."

"Today's lunch special comes from King Food, located deep in the corner of South Philly. This small establishment has been around for years, and I happen to know and teach the children of the family that runs it. Today, I finally decided to give them a try. I ordered the $6 lunch special, which included General Tso chicken with chicken fried rice and fresh vegetables. The General Tso chicken was perfectly cooked and fried, not too tough or chewy like some other Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. The fried rice was very fresh, and the vegetables served with it were also fresh and delicious. The broccoli was especially fresh. They also offer delivery and are very friendly people. If you're ever in the area and looking for affordable and satisfying food, I highly recommend visiting King Food. Mention my name when you go, as they know me well."

"Delicious lunch! I stopped visiting Sarasota. I had to visit my favorite restaurant. The young lady who answered the phone was very professional patient. I could not find anywhere on their online menu about Tofu or any adjustments to their dishes. To my surprise, they could add to the roasted rice I had young with the chicken egg. It was delicious that I was only half full after dinner. The sauce was very rich, but very good! Unfortunately, I had some diarrhea later. I took a star because they didn't deliver when I lived in Venice."
