"I submitted an order via Uber Eats for pick up. I arrived several minutes after submitting the order and waited outside as the app said my order was being prepared. The only two staff members walked outside, adjacent to the store's entrance and vaped inside the Chinatown mall while I was sitting there. They went back into the store when other customers had started to arrive. I went inside to ask about my order before they took down any other orders and I was told that the staff will not start any pick up orders until the customer has arrived for freshness. They explained they would get started on my order after taking the next customer (who offered I go ahead as they hadn't decided what they wanted).I was forgotten about for several minutes as the staff completed a number of orders that came in after me first. When they saw me still waiting and remembered, they created the order immediately. The other boba places such as Volcano Cafe, ShareTea, Seven Leaves and Bambu make my order the moment I submit it for pick up and I have never had any issues with waiting or freshness. Overall, the experience and product from No. 1 Boba was not worth the wait and disrespect of my time or custom. I am disappointed in this local business."
