"We often go to the Kingbird before a performance at the Kennedy Center. It is withing walking distance, especially when the restaurant staff let you out the secret back exit. This is a very nice restaurant, and you will pay for it so it is not inexpensive. However, it is well worth it. The service is excellent, the food is unique and really good, and the drinks are also very good. I also appreciate that the tables are not right on top of each other and the overall noise level is low. I 've been to nice restaurants before where you have to shout to be heard by your dinner companion the Kingbird is not like this at all, it is very civilized and, therefore, to me, worth every penny. We will dine there again. Special mention to Omar, who was our server this last time he was very attentive and did a great job."
