"We ordered a couple of chicken flautas, and they were delicious—crispy with plenty of meat. The guacamole was fresh and tasty. The pastor tacos were also good and well-seasoned. However, the steak tacos were quite disappointing; they had an overpowering beef flavor and a lot of fat. It seemed like they used the fatty parts of the steak without trimming them beforehand. I would recommend this place, but I would suggest skipping the steak tacos."

"The food is amazing, and I highly recommend the frozen margarita pitcher with friends. The fries are actually good if your kids don’t love tacos, and the chips and all the dipping options are great. The fish, pastor, and asada tacos are all amazing! Loved this dining experience enough that we came back twice during our three day stay! Parking: Easy parking in nearby lots and dedicated lot. Kid-friendliness: The outside space is amazing! It has room for kids to move, easy clean-up furniture, and a dedicated play area on the lower level of the outdoor dining. The misters also make it cool enough for kids."

"This was my first visit since their rebranding as Cantina Avenida I wasn't sure what to expect. The change seems to reflect a shift from Mexican haute cuisine to awesome Latin cuisine (not sure how this is street fare but except for some awesome evolution of the menu, the place looks the same maybe some new paint colors, and the wait staff remains attentive and very friendly. Most importantly, the food is still out of this world, unique, and leaves me looking forward to my next visit! I miss the spare ribs (hope they return but really enjoyed the Pollo a la Brasa and the Chicken Tacos. For dessert, do not miss the White Chocolate Burnt Caramel Pudding out of this world!!"

"look at these tacos. Look at her. where on this side of the sky will you get tacos that look like that? the other taco Luchador’s, safe if they want to feel like they are in a porta-potty-turned restaurant. Here's hype. directly at the corner, inside and outside seats. they have music, quirky signs and a corneal of sauces. my wife insists that they have good water; I think it's average. but it is the only average thing at the place. during our visit there was a woman in the back who sang whitney houstons “I will always love you” a cappella and she killed it."
