"From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm smiles and an ambiance that perfectly blends traditional Mexican charm with modern comfort. It's an absolute must visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. Food: The menu is a vibrant celebration of Mexican flavors. I started with the freshly made guacamole, which was perfectly seasoned and paired beautifully with their crisp, homemade tortilla chips. The star of the show, however, was the Carnitas plate succulent, tender pork cooked to perfection, accompanied by fluffy rice and creamy refried beans. Every bite was a taste of heaven. The margaritas are another highlight; the perfect balance of tangy and sweet, with just the right amount of kick. Service: The staff at Macario’s go above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable dining experience. Our server, Carlos, was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. He made excellent recommendations and was always nearby to refill drinks or answer any questions without being intrusive. Ambiance: The restaurant’s decor is vibrant and inviting, with colorful murals and rustic furnishings that transport you straight to Mexico. The outdoor patio is perfect for a relaxed evening under the stars, and the live music adds an extra layer of magic to the dining experience. Value: For the quality and quantity of food, Macario’s offers fantastic value. The portions are generous, and every dish is crafted with love and authenticity. It's clear that the chefs take great pride in their work, and it shows in every bite. Conclusion: Macario’s Bar and Grill is a true gem in Indio. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by for an unforgettable meal. The exceptional food, outstanding service, and delightful atmosphere make it a standout choice for any occasion. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious menu! ¡Viva Macario’s! Vegetarian options: Not into meat? The vegetarian fajitas are to die for or try the chipotle Cesar salad Parking: Parking in front and back of restaurant. About 50 parking spots shared with the Royal Plaza inn. Kid friendliness: Super nice servers and plenty of high chairs. Wheelchair accessibility: ADA seating at the bar. Bathrooms fit ADA guidelines and plenty of tables available located in dining room, banquet room and bar."

"I have passed by this place many of times and never really saw any people there. Wasn't sure if it was even open. Then one day. BOOM! Parking lot full of cars. I went to Google to look them up as i had no idea what their name was. Google has them with a high rating. But on to the establishment review. It looks authentic enough in my opinion but i don't have much to compare it to. They have seeds saved husks you can buy as well. They didn't greet me like other places but maybe because i was on the phone or maybe little English. But even when i approached the counter, i still didn't get a hello/hola. The menu isnt too bad to decipher but if you aren't familiar with the food and culture, you may have some issues. Luckily, the lady understood my question. But i stuck to what i could recognize. Not sure why a receipt wasn't offered. Maybe ask for one?! I didn't have a long wait to get my food and it was hot. There were a few flies in the dining area that was still set up to keep people from dining in. I didn't get a pic of the flautas I ordered. But they were good as well. The tacos had a good flavor but they put the onions and cilantro on the tacos. The grilled onions were to the side. I like to pile on my stuff ad then add my lime. But that's another thing. I had 5 tacos and 2 flautas and there were maybe about $2 a piece(no receipt so I'm guessing) since the total came to $14. Not sure if there was tax or not. The people weren't rude by any means but probably rarely get non Spanish speakers in there. I would go back if im in the area. Good price, decent food, good menu options and a decent experience."
