"My wife is from Oaxaca (Mixtepec), so we had to visit this place while we were in California, and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent and incredibly authentic. My wife enjoyed the Tlayuda Oaxaqueña, which she loved. I had a Huarache topped with half flor de calabazas (squash flower) and half huitlacoche (corn smut), and it was so delicious that I devoured it in no time. The salsa was also fantastic! The kids shared a quesadilla made with queso Oaxaca."
