"The food was delicious! You need to order the seafood tempura, flaky, light and covered with a air puffed garlic! Amazing. The only issue that we had was our seating, when we first arrived. On th Open Table reservation site, I specify mentioned that it was our anniversary. Silly me, I was expecting them to read and maybe do a little something. When we arrived, they wanted to seat us right T the front booth, right behind the hostess entrance! NOT romantic to overhear every conversation they were having. We asked our waiter if he could moves us to a another quieter table, he wasn’t very accommodating. But I didn’t take his no for an answer, asked another person that looked to be more in charge, and they were able to move us to a better table. I would got back"

"This is the best Indian food place in CO by far! Biki has always taken amazing care of us, great service always with a big smile! Biki has even made us special hot sauces since we like our food spicy! He goes above and beyond to spoil us, it’s like we’re at someone’s home! Janae is the best bar tendress in town!! We love to chat new cocktail concoctions with her and came up together with an amazing tamarind mezcalrita that she just kills!!! No one else is shaking up the drinks like Janae! "What a hidden gem! The staff was fantastic, providing excellent service in a cozy setting. The food was amazing—fresh, beautifully presented, and with plenty of options to choose from. The cocktail and wine selection was impressive, featuring numerous great choices. I would give it a 10 out of 10 and will definitely return!"

"Buyer beware! Not allergy friendly!! We ordered through Door Dash last night and wasted $40 on food that was inedible. My family has a dairy allergy and I clearly requested in my order that each item be gluten free, vegan and mild. Upon receiving the order I thought it looked suspicious so I called to check and sure enough these dishes contain dairy! Also the peas pilau was freezing cold as if they forgot to heat the dish before sending (which also means they likely microwave to go food in styrofoam! . At first I thought the peas pilau was supposed to be served chilled but the fellow on the phone Nandu confirmed it should have been heated and also confirmed that despite my requests the majority of our food contained dairy. He was quite abrupt and did not apologize or offer to correct any of the errors. Seemed like he just wanted me off the phone and didn't care that they ruined our dinner, wasted our money, and could have made my family very sick by including dairy in our food despite the notes on the order. The one dish which supposedly did not contain dairy was the Mushroom Mutter but even this was disappointing as the veggies tasted old like they came from cans and it was very spicy for a dish that was requested mild. So many problems with this order, makes me question everything about this restaurant. If they are not careful with preparing the food, then how careful are they when cleaning and sanitizing their kitchen?? I am completely dissatisfied with the food and customer service. I was not offered a refund or replacement or even an apology! Such a frustrating experience and a total waste of time and money."

"i ordered the Oh Toro Roll and the first time it was great, thats why i ordered it again. However, this second time it was old and smelly. I could not eat it and had to throw it away. All other items that were ordered were fine but the Toro roll which is $20 not cheap was so smelly you could smell it with the lid closed. Maybe they send old fish out to customers that have deliveries since there is no way to complain about it??"

"Do not dine here for Denver Restaurant Week. They tried to serve us a different menu. We showed the the one on the Denver Restaurant Week web site. The server argued with us a long time but finally relented to serve the correct menu. EXCEPT, the restaurant week menu offered a free bottle of wine. The server refused to serve it to us in the restaurant. Again a long argument ensued and all that she would do is give us a warm bottle of white wine that could be opened at the table. After the first course came out, it took 10 minutes to get any silverware and napkins. When you consider that almost every page of their menu features expensive alcoholic drink options, I suppose their strategy was to force us to pay extra for drinks! We will not be going back."

"Disappointed in this restaurant. Went on recommendation of a friend, but found food to be bland and unexciting. Was not able to sit at counter since it was booked, though had requested it. Had 'signature ' rice dish with mushrooms and it turned out to be just a sticky pot with steamed mushrooms on top no taste at all. Dishes were poorly timed so ended up waiting a long time in between. We were new to this restaurant, but they did not seem interested in having repeat customers not special experience."

"The food we ordered was amazing. The Gobi Manchurian and mango lassi were perfect. What sets this place apart is the fresh quality of the ingredients used in their dishes. As an Indian, I found the food to have a homely style of cooking, and having visited Nepal three times, I can say the flavors and aroma were very similar to Thakali-style (Nepali thali), like it was prepared by a local Nepali lady in a serene Himalayan valley dhaba (cafe). The hosts are very welcoming, and the atmosphere is authentic, reflecting traditional Nepali Buddhist architecture. The restaurant also has a small gift shop. It's popular with Americans, which indicates that the spice levels are moderate, but generally, Nepali food isn't overly spicy. Overall, a wonderful experience!"

"The food was decent. The restaurant is a small one but the employees are pretty attentive and are always attentive to the needs of all who are seated. Customers are greeted immediately and are directed to the table based on the count. There ya unlimited refill for anything on your Thali. Food served is quite fresh as the crowd is flowing. Tables are neatly wiped. I'd recommend going to this place if you live around this area. It's better if you confirm the number of members"

"I posted on Yelp but they hid my review and I think people should know what I witnessed so I'm reposting here. I was there for the lunch buffet recently, 8-17-15. Tables are setup with salt and pepper shakers in the middle of the table and 4 place settings. While I was eating I saw the owner/manager walk up to a table that was setup for customers with a can of bug spray. He followed a fly around the table with the bug spay and then gave the fly a big blast right in the center of the table. Well I was thinking he would clean the table, replace the salt and pepper shakers and also replace the 4 place settings of napkins wrapped around silverware. "OMG. I ate so much good food tonight. Not just good tasting, but good and healthy food. Usually when I eat this much I wind up feeling icky and heavy. Not tonight. I feel pleasantly full. And I know why. There was absolutely nothing artificial in that delicious meal. Everything was fresh and made from scratch with REAL food. No MSG, no hydrogenated garbage, nothing previously frozen or mummified by a bunch of preservatives that I can 't spell. I had a Tava Tango Mango Martini to start. The papadam with the cilantro chutney and tamarind chutney were addictive. Since I checked in on Yelp, we were treated to a very tasty vegetable pakora (who would have thought spinach tempura could be so good). I tried the chicken momos again delicious. The mixed grill tandoori was incredible; it came out sizzling and the aroma was fantastic. I also had the tandoori vegetables and peas Palau. It was food Nirvana. Oh, and the naan, perfect. This hidden gem has gorgeous decor and finishes very warm and welcoming and even romantic. It was a quiet night there so the waiter was extra attentive. The only not 100% positive thing I can think to add is that it was a little on the dark side since they turned the lights down a bit for ambiance, and that 's more a matter of my personal preference. As we sat chatting after we finished eating, the owner came over to check on us. First I couldn 't stop going on and on about how wonderful our meal was. Then we had a really nice conversation about how truly committed he is to bringing good healthy food to the table. It is so refreshing to know that he is so dedicated to his standard that there are no compromises or short cuts. I will absolutely be returning to eat there again and ordering for delivery. Honestly, I haven 't felt this good about a restaurant since I was part of the opening team for the Renaissance Schaumburg and the restaurant there because I personally knew everyone involved. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, or are thinking of trying it out, you absolutely, positively MUST go to Tava. It is worth the drive from in the city or further suburbs. It would be a shame if you didn 't patronize and experience this fantastic dining establishment."

"I would give more stars, but the servers consistently make mild dishes stinky because they assume we cannot handle the heat. When we insisted that it should be spicy and extra spicy, it was lacking even mild heat. The dishes can be made the appropriate level of heat, as we occasionally get the proper level when ordering online. Even then, it seems there are times when the kitchen is purposely holding back on the heat level. If the ordering was consistent and the heat level reflected what was asked, this would be a great place to eat. Right now, it's marginally better than going down the street to the Spice Basket and making the dishes yourself."

"Yeti here in Glen Ellen is one of my favorite places to dine. Their food is always enjoyable and the wait staff all part of this family owned business enjoys their customers. The outside dining area is wonderful, sitting on Sonoma Creek. Although I would prefer more cushioned chairs it is still a great location even in cooler weather with the outdoor heaters they have available. The six of us dining together shared two appetizers, Onion Bhajji and VEGETABLE MOMO both were increased in quantity to present everyone the opportunity to enjoy. Both were delicious and would recommend you try The tandori sizzler is a must with the meal presented to you on a super hot cast iron platter still cooking at your side. Lots to enjoy in this meal...we had the chicken but they are all xlnt The other dishes ranged from a vegetarian BINDI MASALA, alone with LAMB VINDALOO (mine and delicious), SAAG GOSHT and the ultimate...wowza of a dish LAMB SHANK CURRY serving two lamb shanks so tender and so delicious. Bottom line no matter what you decide on you won't be disappointed! (don't forget the Naan....can't order anything without at least one order of naan)."

"I went to Toriko for my fiancé’s birthday. We ordered the omakase tasting menu and a bottle of wine. The food was not bad but they seem very disorganized. There is only one person behind the grill and they look like they are constantly scrambling and trying to figure out who ordered what. I had to pull up the tasting menu on my phone to make sure they served everything that’s included. They missed the king crab dish and we had to remind them. When I made the reservation, I had specified it’s the male guest’s birthday and we would like to order the birthday platter, again, I had to remind them as it looked like everyone was cleaning up for closing already and we still haven’t gotten our platter. To add on, the waiter brought our check over and doubled the price of the wine we ordered and claimed it was a “glitch”. Always double check your check!! They have to a lot of improvements to work on ."

"Sri is our favorite spot for sushi rolls! They truly have the best. However, the owners let their liquor license expire, which has kept us away for the last couple of months. Additionally, bringing your own wine isn't permitted. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant has changed a lot. We hope everything will be back to normal when we visit again."

"My wife and I were surprised that there haven’t been some recent TripAdvisor reviews of Zaika Indian Cuisine. We’ve eaten Indian food frequently for many years on 3 different continents so we know good and not so good Indian food. We ate here for the first time today and everything was great. We started with mango lassis which were thick, cool and refreshing. Next we had the onion pakora appetizer which were plentiful and among the best we’ve ever tasted. For my main I was very pleased with the Kerala Curry at spice level 2. My wife surprised me by choosing the Baingan Bharta at spice level 3 which was fantastic. We had enough left over for 1 large dinner! My wife also ordered a Ras Malai dessert to go. Total cost was $60 tax tip. We look forward to returning if we are in Colorado Springs again."

Y'all floors was dirty look like they haven't been cleaned in months. And was stains on the walls like they haven't been cleaned. it just the restaurant used to be more appealing y'all need to clean up get rid of all the dead plants hanging.I wish I could try act together and just fix the restaurant back up like he used to be"

"I spent a delightful lunch today. The naan is excellent, they have two clay ovens. I got a veggie dish and it was authentic enough. Medium was just right for my american pallet. I am often disappointed by fake Indian like locals can't tell the difference, but this is not true for Zaika.Also, the staff were exceptionally pleasant. I had a long chat with the manager, because it was late lunch on a weekday. Then the rest of the staff became more friendly. I can't blame staff for being cautious with customers because there are so many rude people that ruin restaurants for us nice people. I suspect that the one star review folks all need a happy meal from MacDonald's instead."

"I've visited this restaurant twice and had a pleasant dining experience on both occasions. However, I found that their vegan options were more limited than I anticipated, and to be honest, the service could use some improvement. The prices are a bit on the higher side, likely due to the restaurant's prime location. I tried the chana masala and a special Daal-Idr dish, and they were able to prepare a vegan version of the vindaloo for me. While the vindaloo wasn't very spicy, I was still quite satisfied with my meal."
