"When the employee informed the owner, a man, that I was seeking a refund, he approached me in a rude manner. His behavior was unprofessional, mean, and arrogant—he seemed to have a serious lack of respect for women. I had not disrespected him or any of his staff, but he was condescending and dismissive. I pride myself on being a laid-back and understanding person; I just wanted the correct order or a refund. I had never encountered anything like this before.
Despite what one of his staff told me, the owner refused to give me a refund, saying, “I’m the owner, and you’re not getting a refund.” It felt as though he was clinging to that $15 as if it was a matter of life and death. His demeanor changed significantly when my husband walked in, revealing that he is quite cowardly when faced with a man, treating women differently.
I will never return to this establishment. I truly feel for the women who work for him, as I can only imagine the level of mistreatment they must endure. One of the staff members even seemed visibly concerned or scared. Men, please protect the women in your lives from this individual."
