"Seoul Garden? Seoul mediocre. High prices, slow service, bad food. You want more? They were out of the wine we ordered. The server announced that dessert would be green tea ice cream. Sounded nice, after a terrible dinner. She showed up with a half serving, for our party of 3, and said they were out of that flavor. Which could describe the meal. We had the BBQ Combo, at $100. Bland, dry beef that was an insult to the names bul gogi and short ribs. No sauce, no flavor. Bul gogi is supposedly marinated, stir-fried and succulent; short ribs should be tender. These two dishes were military grade. And the bedding for them, and a sad version of pork belly and a so-so chicken dish, was a sprinkling of chopped raw onions and carrots. Yep. The same stuff under all 4 dishes. Mysterious little side dishes appeared, with no explanations. A noodle dish, like the chicken, was passable. Nothing else was. Also: It took 30 minutes to get our food, and it all came at the same time. And half of it was cold. If the restaurant was busy, some of this might be excusable, but we were the only guests in the front room, and our friend checked the back, and saw only two tables occupied. Still, the long wait, and then the deluge of disappointments. Total bill: $170, with wine, sake $20 , tax and tip. And when I got home, I got a note from Open Table saying we had not honored our reservation. Although I told the host owner? my name and our reservation time, he apparently didn 't take notice. Must 've been just too busy."

"We had a wonderful time at this restaurant yesterday as we celebrated my best friends birthday. We were a party of seven and arrived around 7:15. The restaurant was quite busy, they offer a seating area where you can wait until you are seated. It didn't take long before we got to our table. We were brought hot tea to enjoy prior to our ordering. Our waitress was wonderful and so gracious. She was sure to communicate that it would be a few minutes before she would be back to take our order. This restaurant offers cook at table BBQ and it is assisted by the restaurant workers to ensure proper cooking and safety. Once our waitress got back to our table, she apologized for the delay, but we were very understanding as we could see she was quite busy. She took our orders promptly and it wasn't long before our food came out. For an appetizer we ordered Tuk bok ki (rice cakes with vegetables in a chili sauce) they were very tasty and full of flavor. The texture of the rice cake was reminiscent of gnocchi and took on the flavor of the sauce, slightly sweet with a great kick of chili. I ordered the Yook Ge Jang, a flavorful spicy beef stew with glass noodles and fresh vegetables. There was an excellent depth of flavor in my stew and I couldn't stop eating it. My fiance ordered Chap Chae, a warm noodle dish with shredded pork, vegetables and a savory sweet sauce, he also enjoyed his meal. I got to try a bite and loved it. Two of my other friends got Beef Bulgoki and Pork Belly Gui, these menu items are cooked at your table with the assistance of your waitress. The Bulgoki was the star of the show that night, as everyone got to try a bite and found it to be extremely tender and well marinated. The BBQ items came with rice, kimchi, tofu skins, and other assorted sides. Our waitress made different recommendations on good flavor pairings for these and she was so helpful! All the meals we got were of exquisite quality and freshness. The amount of food you are given is well worth the prices, which we all found to be very fair. At the end of the meal we were all already talking about the next time we would be visiting, which is a clear indicator that we all fully enjoyed ourselves. As first time patrons, we were so glad to have had this authentic Korean BBQ experience, especially being so close by to us all. The restaurant was easily accessible and has ample parking and it is in a great location. One take away is that I would not recommend coming here if you are in a rush to be somewhere, as this dining experience is meant to be enjoyed at a slow pace."
