"Went out for Sunday brunch. Just so happened to be 46 degrees when the day prior was 67. I understand that the weather is changing and we are in fall. There were zero heaters outside and we were SOOO COLD! I am aware that in NYC there is 15% seating indoor however, we were not asked if we preferred inside. A reservation was made in advance through this app. When we got there, the staff was a bit rude but later warmed up. After we were seated, I got up to go to the bathroom. The inside staff seemed a bit annoyed that I wanted to enter but what’s a girl to do. I ordered steak and eggs. Both steak and eggs came out cold. Not sure if it was due to the weather BUT I didn’t send back cause I didn’t feel like waiting in the cold for it to be prepared again. My server was very nice but he too was freezing and I felt extra bad for him."

"I visited Palomas twice before today. Once when the restaurant was newly opened with 3 other girlfriends of mines. We had a wonderful dining experience. Drinks were on point, and food was delicious. Second time was just all right, the food wasn't as great but that may have been a result of ordering off of a special menu they had. This most recent experience, the pork that comes with the guacamole was very large and under cooked. When the guacamole was brought to their attention we were told that it'll take very long for the pork to get cooked correctly so they wouldnt be able to do that and so we ordered only the guacamole instead. When the octopus that I ordered came out it was extremely dry, and for the cost it was nearly the size of a large pickle on the plate. When told to the kitchen that I didn't like the food I was told nothing could be done besides to receive a side of chips to eat with the meal I didn't want. Typically if you do not like a meal they usually will accommodate you, but not on this night. I'm extremely disappointed and my girlfriends and I will never visit this restaurant again. They charged me for the entire meal although I didn't take not one bite of the food. For $35 to loose a group of customers isn't worth it when we've spent over $1,000 here in six months. Guess the owner has clients to throw away. I work in the airline industry and have traveled and eaten at many establishments and have never been so dismissed as they have shown us tonight. The owner came out who is also the chef and never even addressed us, but that's the type of restaurant and customer service they have today."

"Our waiter was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant had a wonderful ambiance. They offered a wide variety of dumpling fillings to choose from. I tried their boozy bubble teas, which are infused with sake, and surprisingly, they were delicious—definitely a first for me! The seaweed salad was fresh, and the cheesy corn was extraordinarily cheesy. I can't wait to return and sample more of their dumpling fillings!"

"I absolutely adore this restaurant and the food is incredible! Everything is amazing, except for the seating situation. It always feels awkward trying to find a place to sit while carrying my food, especially when there are people working at the tables, and the seating is limited. This isn't a coworking space. The coffee team should consider reorganizing the layout; there are plenty of options for improvement, even something as simple as small table tents would help. I really don't want to keep coming back just to face this seating challenge every time."

"Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this restaurant if you're in the area. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced for NYC. The guacamole was tasty, and the portion sizes were generous. The carnitas tacos weren’t spicy, but I really enjoyed the mole on the chicken, and the shrimp enchiladas came with a delicious sauce. The restaurant's interior is quite small, and the music was too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. If they could lower the volume, I would rate it five stars. If you're planning to visit and want to chat, consider sitting outside. As for parking, be aware that street parking is limited in the area, but there are garages nearby."
