"A large, airy, modern cafe near South Station that's a branch of a growing Philly-based chain. So if you're familiar with La Colombe outlets from further south, you'll see the same familiar menu here. The black and tan (pure black draft latte) is one of my favorites. While it isn't as milky and watered down as a latte, it's also a moderated, somewhat creamy take on a usual coffee-only drink. It was served relatively quickly by a friendly, preppy-looking dude. The cafe was so inviting that I would have been inclined to be a laptop loiterer, but alas I had a train to catch at South Station. For all you folks who love to work from cafes, though, this should the perfect venue if it's not that crowded, which it shouldn't be given that downtown foot traffic remains low."
