"New China Cafe is an excellent choice for takeout Chinese food. Although they don't have an eat-in option at the moment, the quality of the food is fantastic. I tried the crispy fried dumplings, combination fried rice, and garlic pork. The garlic pork dish included an egg roll, plain fried rice, and a chicken wing. Both the combination fried rice and the garlic pork were exceptional. I placed my order inside the restaurant and waited in my car. The staff were friendly and personally delivered my food to my vehicle. They provided superb customer service and were very accommodating with my requests. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious takeout Chinese food."

"Horrible! Food made me sick… saw food being prepped in area that was not for prepping and not clean! Very bad customer service and the man was very rude! This restaurant is very dingy and unclean… they use a nasty spoon for who knows what stir peoples drinks. Nasty dry liquid dried up at the bottom of container where they keep the spoon. If you want good Chinese food in this area try Sam’s cafe! Save your money this place is nasty and unsanitary!!"

"We have been going to several different Master Wok restuarants in the KC Metro area and they all are great! The food is always high quality and a big portion. The price is on the higher side compared to other Chinese restuarants, but it is worth it. This is not a all you can eat Chinese buffet, so each entree is made fresh. The staff is always friendly and professional. The Independence location as a real cool aquarium, that is kept very clean."

"I come here for lunch often since I work in the area and I’m never disappointed. Everything is really tasty and they use quality ingredients. Some of my favorites are the generals tsos chicken, sesame chicken, and spicy chicken with lo mein. I like the fact that there’s no doubt that what I’m eating is what it is. Often times the meat that is being served in local Chinese restaurants in our neighborhood is questionable. Like is this really chicken? There’s no question about it Master Wok."
