"Gemstone offers a delightful dining experience. While their sign highlights sushi and hibachi, I highly recommend trying their Taiwanese/Chinese special menu. We enjoyed the braided pork over rice and the pork and cabbage dumplings, both of which were quite tasty. The tea was also excellent. Additionally, the staff were friendly and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience."

"For our main courses, we chose two dishes. The lemongrass pork chops came with a side of egg and sausage soup. The pork chops were tender and bursting with flavor—definitely a highlight of the meal. We also ordered the short ribs served over rice, which were sweet and absolutely divine—some of the best short ribs I've ever tasted. To complement our meal, we indulged in some iced Vietnamese coffee, which was sweet and robust. The service was exceptional, run by a small, dedicated family who each play an important role in the restaurant. Orders were efficiently handled, whether by phone or in-person, and dining in was a fantastic experience!"

"We ordered take out. I ordered BBQ Pork... it was just the BBQ pork you can buy in the store, sliced up and stuffed in a box. It was cold and it was extremely dry and leathery. It was like it was cut a week ago and put in the fridge and finally served today. I also ordered the beef and broccoli, very bland. The broccoli was nearly raw. My wife had the orange chicken which was obviously some kind of frozen breaded chicken things. They were nasty. We also ordered 2 orders of pork fried rice. Those were bland and I have no idea how you can have extremely dry, leathery meat in pork fried rice, but somehow they managed! This was our first and last time going to this restaurant. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"Okay every time I do these I intend to be completely honest. So the good part first the food is amazing. There 's shrimp and eggplant and garlic sauce is what I go for every time. However don 't go in your closing! The service is less than desirable. And although there were only about five tables we walked in at 8:03 p.m. the waitress stopped us at the door and said they were closed. I mentioned that we had checked the website and it said they were open till 8:30. She abruptly stopped me and said no that 's take out only! My sister asked what time they close she said 8:00 p.m. dine in 8:00 p.m. take out 8:30. I said we were a bit thrown off because that wasn 't specified on the website we were about to leave and the owner/manager came up and reluctantly said well that 's okay she said ok, only if you eat fast. I couldn 't believe that she just said that so sternly and apologetically and then just looked at us waiting for a response we quickly said oh thank you so much , however the rest of the meal was just as rushed as her greeting. As soon as we put something down she snatched it up off the table they poured water like they were late late for a very important date , like the rabbit in Alice in wonderland. They used their little sweeper to clean under our table bumping and hitting the table and chairs underneath us as we try to eat fast . Needless to say as soon as we signed for our tab and put the pen on the table they started snatching plates and forks off the table before we can even get out of our seats. Mind you there was a table of about six or seven Young teenagers hooting and hollering laughing it up having a great time and another table with a couple quietly eating their meal that was there before we arrived. They were not being rushed off."

"Bamboo Garden Counter. This is the child to Bamboo Garden, located a few doors down next to Origami Sushi. Lighter fare, lunch counter. I finally get to write a good review. I found the food to be fresh, hot, and imaginative. Great flavor combos and hard to decide what to get. Had fish soup with a fresh tasting nice light broth. Aldo tried a side of Jap Chain, a noodle dish well worth getting. One of the best features is the counter help, informative, friendly, and act like they care! They were very patient with me, guiding me through the menu and coming to my table to see if I like everything and see if I required anything else. This is a place where there is not table service, order at counter and sometimes pick- up. Very clean restrooms, kitchen( open) and dining. I will be back!"

"The place has a lot of cosmetic defects and might look a bit out dated, but what does that have do with how your food tastes? Their food is cooked to order. It is always fresh. I give this place 5 stars hands up. Very good and rich food for more than 10 years I have been buying here very cheap. I simply enjoyed their food. I always get awesome service here. The place is well kept and the employees are always welcoming. I highly recommend this place."

"I cannot recommend this restaurant. I suffered from food poisoning after taking only three bites of my meal, and the hot soup was especially unpleasant. When I sought assistance, the staff at the reception were quite rude. Overall, I would advise you to avoid dining here. I intend to report this issue to the health department."

"Very fast service and very professional over the phone. The food is not great. I got the beef with string beans and fried rice and an eggroll. The beef was mushy and the sauce was unfamiliar...the string beans were crunchy and tasted good, rice was decent. The egg roll had no flavor and was very greasy. This is the only time I've ordered from them, so maybe I just got the wrong things. Service: Delivery"

"Good Chinese-American food. I like that it's a family run business in a repurposed old I-Hop. I like that she has her kid there at work rolling through the restaurant in roller skates. I like that they serve pressed duck, and that they have the big greasy egg rolls I sometimes have a taste for. Good egg foo yung. I've always liked what I get here. I do like that they aren't fluent in American English. Portions are generous, prices are good. And whether you're here or another Chinese-American restaurant, never eat at the buffet, that's neither smart nor safe."

"Enjoyed our buffet lunch. Had salad bar, 2 hot food bars, sushi bar deserts with several fruit options. Everything we had was very good. Ice cream was not good, tasted grainy weak. No knives available unless you ask to cut things like broccoli, ect. Price was reasonable. Bathrooms need a thorough cleaning. Only one handicap parking space is not sufficient for this location."
