"I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, especially since the menu looked fantastic and I had been wanting to visit for quite some time. Unfortunately, the food ended up being a letdown. We started with the fried cheese curds, which were overcooked; most of the cheese had oozed out, leaving us with nothing but empty bread shells. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with spätzle, and while the schnitzel was cooked through in some parts, it was quite thick and simply lacked flavor—it was just mediocre. The spätzle, too, was completely flavorless. My husband opted for the Wagyu steak, requesting it rare plus, but it arrived at about medium doneness and had some charred spots on the outside. The potatoes that accompanied the steak were a highlight, though—they were wonderfully creamy inside and perfectly crisp on the outside. Overall, we likely won't be returning, as the meal was very pricey for what we received, which was just okay."
