"Got 2 gyros and the regular fries for $37 not including tip. We got there right at 8:30 and the person taking our order said that they close in 30 minutes, we asked if we should go somewhere else and they said “yea or take it to go” my husband asked if we could sit outside and they said “sure”. I felt bad so I said “we’ll just take it home, I’m sorry”. I’ve gotten this place delivered before and loved it but thought the prices were steep for the food. For the right atmosphere and environment, it would’ve been worth the price. Another customer came in after us and after being told that they’re closing soon, they also asked if they should go somewhere else and apologized for being there as well."

"Just ordered take out on whim. Do yourself a favor and simply order the Eggplant dip. It was the most magical experience I've had in a long time. The rest of my order could have been terrible and still would give this place 5 stars just because of this dip. Best thing of all, the rest of our meal was fantastic. The Falafel on pita was so fresh with all of the veggies thrown in. The grape leaves and Greek salad was also a highlight. I can't wait to order from here again. I might have to take advantage and eat in since the restaurant is BYOB. Great job Cedar Tree, you got yourself another committed customer."

"Amazing spot!! Ordered a chicken taco accompanied with a slice of pizza and a coconut juice. I gotta say this spot blew my mind. Its a pizza and taco spot and they did both so well. The staff is super friendly and lots of families seem to eat here. We went on a weeknight and it was pretty bustling :"

"We had the BEST birthday dinner! Food was divine and the staff was SO nice and helpful. Octopus and saganaki are must haves, Greek salad is huge (we had the small size) and the unlimited warm bread was heavenly! The house white wine was delicious and affordable. The staff sang happy birthday for us and brought us a sparkler candle, highly recommend!"

"Visited this past weekend due to overwhelming positive reviews online and by friends. Overall, would agree with those reviews but found service to be lacking. Took over 7 minutes for server to say a word after we were seated, though hostess came to provide water. What honestly saved the night was the food, wonderful, plate-licking good food. I 'd go back again just to be able to try more. The weekend show was a nice touch; short and sweet."

"We asked for two vodka drinks but only had enough for one drink. It was 7:00 in the evening how could you be out of a product at the beginning of the evening. Asked for a bottle of Bud light but didn’t have that either. They suggested a Peroni but they didn’t have that in a bottle either they brought out a draft. I don’t drink draft beer. We ordered two food items to start. The one item is called Dolmades. The Dolmades were canned. No Greek restaurant should serve canned Dolmades. They are a Greek delicacy and should be seved freshly made. The restaurant had seven customers and the two food items still took to long to be served. The inside of the restaurant and the table seating outside looked like the area hadn’t been cleaned in days. At this point the waitress who was very good and apologetic I asked for a bourbon neat and the check. Hookah smoking apparently is their specialty. Sitting outside we chose a table away from a table that Had a cloud of smoke hanging over it. While waiting to place our order the waitress brought the table next to us another Hookah pipe so now we’re sitting between two clouds of smoke. There should either signage or someone telling us that it’s a Hookah smoking area. Being Greek and in the restaurant business all my life it appeared that there was no ownership or management involved in the place that night. I should have known when we made the reservation on open table and saw it was rated 3.5 stars we should have chosen somewhere else. Michael"

"wanted to come here long ago, especially to see what this is about. authentic Greek food in its finest. chicken souvlaki, freshly cut tomato and gurken and salat was fresh. had a series of lemon potatoes, which were only sensational and a side order of lamb gyro, also delicious. it is a ten round with taking out a small break - the pita brot consists of milk! no other Greek restaurant that I was to serve pita w/ milk in it. that was not too sweet, but everything else was excellent as the photos and I will come back. at last was the customer service and attention over par!"

"Instead of a burger, we ended up ordering chicken souvlaki, lamb gyros, pork souvlaki, and befteki. I was particularly impressed with the chicken and pork souvlaki; they were both very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The dish was served with some delightful rice and a side of beans. However, I found the befteki a bit too heavy on the spices. The first few bites were delicious, but it became overwhelming after a while. We all noted that the prices seemed significantly higher than we remembered, though they were still in line with other restaurants in the area. When we asked for extra pita bread and tzatziki sauce, we were surprised to be charged an additional $3. Overall, dinner was decent, but I’m not sure when I'll return."

"Once again, this wasn't my first choice or even second) when I was picking a place to dine. However, I was pleasantly rewarded for not being able to go to the three other places I had in mind before finding this one. I arrived towards the end of the evening but was still met with exemplary service. The food was pretty awesome too. I ordered the Jumbo Sardines on a whim, and I wasn't disappointed. I wouldn't recommend them to many people as that fish tends to be very heavy and somewhat fishy. What I was not expecting was five large fish on my plate, just begging to be devoured. Both the stuffed grape leaves and the tzatziki appetizers were done in the most perfect manner I could hope for. Despite how amazingly tasty the food was, I found a few of the prices to be higher than I would have been happy with $10 for an extra side of rice or pita). But other than that, everything was super fantastic. I really enjoyed the lemon potatoes on the side. The baklava for dessert was able to hit the spot well. Next time I go back, I think I'll try the spanakopita or maybe the kabab. Vegetarian options: There were more than a few meatless dishes. Many things were made with only veggies. Parking: The parking lot is shared with several businesses, and is not paved. More like a hard-pack with stones. Kid-friendliness: Not a great place to bring them. They wouldn't appreciate the quality. Wheelchair accessibility: Other than the parking lot not being terribly friendly to wheelchairs, there was a good ramp to get in, and the staff were very accommodating. I don't know if there was another bathroom, but the one I saw wasn't very wheelchair friendly. Too many tight turns and very little space.i"

"Very disappointed at this place. I actually left hungry. My family and I are Greek so we were expecting authentic Greek food as the website suggests. My go to dish is always moussaka and this the first time I didn 't even finish 1/4 of it, I had one bite and pushed it aside. There was no flavour at all in the meat, it was completely bland. I got a side of green beans and they were also bland. My family did enjoy their pasta dishes which I tried a bit and those were a actually seasoned well and had spices. The service was very, very slow. I was even waiting for my waitress to come back after we had recieved our dinner so I can ask for something else as the moussaka was completely bland. She never came back untill my family was finished their plates so at that point asking for a new dish was pointless. All I ate was some green beans and lemon potatoes. Was even more disappointed as this is my birthday trip. I was afraid to even order dessert since my dish didn 't taste seasoned. Out of my whole meal, including my drink I only enjoyed the lemon potatoes. It was obvious I didn 't touch my moussaka besides trying a bite and all I was asked was if I wanted a box to take home. The waitress we had also didn 't know the difference between greek mazithra and Parmesan cheese. We asked for extra mazithra and then I overheard her asking a coworker for extra Parmesan. When it came it was indeed parmesan cheese and she said I didn 't know there was a difference after we asked again for mazithra. Overall my family enjoyed their food, but the lack of customer service made me not able to order anything else so I left hungry."

"This experience was the most disappointing yet. The first time I ate at Taverna Kyma, I enjoyed a plate of grilled octopus and a lovely cocktail. I brought five people with me the second time I ate there. Not one of us enjoyed the food or the service. I went back with a friend to see which experience was the norm. The food and service were excellent. So, I concluded the bad experience was the anomaly. Not so! I went again with two more people. Bit the service (the waiter assured us he would ensure my allergic friends order would be overseen by him). Not only did he deliver two plates of allergens, but made excuses for the heavily salted food by explaining the cook had a heavy hand. They 've lost a total of 10 customers and everyone we know. BTW on the way out I stopped to speak to the only other customers in that vast restaurant. Two elderly Greek people. We spoke a bit about where we 're from, snd commiserated over the terribly salty food. I 'm convinced they will never eat there again either. It explains the absence of customers."

"While not especially shiny, this place is real and feels like home. I had pleasant conversations with numerous other customers and was served by a waitress who has been there about a decade. While I wouldn't recommend visiting if you're in a hurry, thisplace is great if you want to feel like a local and eat well without overpaying. The food is delicious and super well priced, with daily specials (I got Wednesday's chicken noodle soup) and fresh tasting OJ, as well as Boston's version of a milkshake(which includes ice cream) the frappe (pronounced frap, I believe, unlike the coffeeshop drink). And because the food was soreasonably priced, it was easy to leave a generous tip! I'll hope to come back to Busy Bee soon."

"Visited Friday 11/24 as a group of about 9, including 2 kids. Our server was friendly, attentive, accommodated requests, took care of us very well. Food was amazing, with really generous portions. I had veggie ghallaba with hummus added, salad and lentil soup as my sides all so good!! We also really enjoyed the bread, hummus and garlic dip as apps. Was visiting from out of town so was extra grateful since I don't always get to enjoy this where I live. Only caveat was another person ordered mousaka we're more familiar with the Greek version whereas this was chopped eggplant with sauce instead of the layered dish with bechamel we're used to. Despite it not being what we expected, it was also really good and seasoned well. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees a lot too."

"I've bought food for pick up from here a couple of times before. Every time there is some incompetence going on at the register and over the phone. It's always a girl or boy, who can't get orders right or lack the ability to do listen or remember details.Yesterday I placed my order, came in to pick it up after the 15 minutes I was told it'd be ready by. When I get there I had towait another 12 minutes because the cashier couldn't get an order down from the phone. Fine, I waited. When I get home, myorder was completey wrong, like I had got some one else's order, and my drink was missing. I couldn't even enjoy the soggy friesthey usually serve..because after almost 30 minutes of sitting in a bag inside aluminum the fries were complete garbage. Getsomeone else on the register, maybe one of the many brown people you have working the kitchen. They seem to work efficiently. But it doesn't matter, because $38 for a gyro with the wrong meat, soggy fries, missing drink, and a mediocre salad. I won'tever be back."

"A counter serve eatery with the traditional blue/white decor, Ambrosia isn 't really fast food but rather falls into the category of casual food quickly. We had quite a sampling at our table, including the appetizer combo, and the Kalamata olive spread was the standout. Very nice. My personal selection was the Greek Burger beef patty served Greek style which was sliced as if it were gyro meat, and placed on a pita with traditional toppings of tzatziki, tomato, and onions. The patty was slightly seasoned and quality beef. I took a side of Greek Fries (always will) seasoned french fries topped with herbs and feta. With extra tzatziki, you could construct your own version of poutine, ala Greek, but I didn 't, instead using the spread as a nice dip for the fries. Four persons, $62 including fountain drinks. Worth it. The food was great, and the service accomodating."

"Had high hopes because I’d ordered delivery from here earlier but ended up disappointed Ordered a rosemary chicken sandwich and a falafel sandwich on wheat. The taste was just ok. Like it was not super great and neither was it horrible. Just ok. Felt like eating fast casual at a sit down dinner place and that felt kind of weird too. The baba ganoush was.. a weird color and kind of grainy, not smooth. And there was too little pita to go with it. It tasted ok but the texture threw me off At some point someone turned down all the overhead lights and the lights started flickering instead of being like a constant dim and that gave me a horrible headache. It was fine if the lights were on full but the on/off thing was really disconcerting and we heard others mention it too I guess we also ended up there on a super busy day where they just had one person running around doing everything, I hope their service is better otherwise? And they have a bar area where some sports were playing which is fine I guess but struck me a bit odd haha But it’s cool that they have half off wine bottles on mondays. And other drink specials other days Solidly average experience and food, don’t recommend if you’re in a hurry though"

"Delicious from the beginning to end. Started with tabouli, crushed lentil soup and my husband with the lamb chili. I then had the chicken schwarma sandwich and my husband the lamb chop dinner with grilled vegetables. We loved the warm naan bread and garlic spread. I capped it off with a Middle Eastern Coffee. All delicious and perfect for a cold and rainy Saturday afternoon lunch. Service as well was impeccable. Keep up the great work."
