"When I arrived at 11:40, after running errands, I found the staff engaged in conversations and watching TV—there were no other customers in sight. Upon entering, it seemed my presence interrupted them, and to my dismay, they hadn't even started on my order. The man who helped me appeared unaware of what I had ordered, so I reminded him, and he relayed my request to the cook.
After five minutes—during which my ice cream melted in the truck—I finally received my food. To my frustration, I was informed there was a $2 fee for using my card; that's ridiculous for a $9 meal. When I checked my food, I was dismayed to see that it was loaded with vegetables and onions. It looked undercooked and unappetizing.
When I pointed this out, the staff’s nonchalant response was alarming. I was told it was the wrong order, despite being the only customer and having heard my specifications relayed to the cook. It’s clear there is a lack of attention to detail. Given the current economic climate, one would expect better service and quality.
I will definitely not be coming back. In comparison, Tokyo Bowl offers superior food, service, and prices. I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but this establishment doesn’t seem deserving of business. The empty restaurant during what should have been a busy lunch hour says it all."
