"This place is a stylish sports bar with great ambiance. The servers are relaxed and have an impressive focus on customer service, always keeping the customer's needs in mind. There are no bad tables here, and I really love the new setup. The leather-covered booths are just elevated enough from the floor, and there are plenty of other tables arranged throughout the restaurant. There are so many flat-screen TVs that you can hardly keep count, and the long bar adds to the overall atmosphere.
Now, let’s talk about the food. I was very happy with the Jalapeno Bottlecap Cheeseburger I ordered. The poppy seed bun was the perfect finishing touch. The burger itself seemed to be made with an 80/20 meat mix, resulting in a juicy, slightly greasy burger that was a significant improvement over my previous experience years ago. I also enjoyed the Jumpin' Jake fries, which are battered French fries; what I received was probably only about three ounces, but they were delicious. Their iced tea was also notably better than the usual offerings. The service was fantastic—every server I interacted with was outgoing and enthusiastic.
There's plenty of parking available right in front of the strip mall, as well as additional parking a few yards east of the restaurant. There is some construction happening nearby since the location is just off I-35W and Western Center, but don't let that deter you from visiting. If you find it difficult to exit or can't leave the restaurant lot onto Western Center, take the northbound outer road parallel to I-35W, and you can easily adjust your route once you reach Basswood. It definitely makes the trip smoother.
