"We had made reservations and confirmed them beforehand. However, when we showed up, the restaurant was only partially occupied. Despite having a table reserved, the hostess informed us that we would have to wait 45 minutes for a seat because they were short-staffed. While we understand that unexpected issues can arise if employees don't show up, it was frustrating for us as guests. We were willing to wait for our meal, but not being allowed to sit at one of the many empty tables was disappointing. We were staying at the hotel where the restaurant was located, so it was even more inconvenient."
