"Beautiful ambiance and very nice service. Sadly the food did not live up to expectations. The filet eggs Benedict was overdone when we asked for medium rare for of the guests. The stuffed waffles were cold and simply just a waffle stacked on top of another with maybe strawberry slices in between and another egg dish was room temperature. Would sadly nor recommend for brunch."

"This place isn’t as special as it used to be. Clientele has changed. People used to dress up to go there and it was a 5 star experience complete with valet parking and coat check. A sommelier would come to each table and make wine recommendations to accompany the meal. Last night we experienced a typical 2-3 star dining experience. Very disappointed. We’ve come every year for 25 to celebrate our anniversary. Will be looking for an upscale experience that warrants the prices we paid for dinner and drinks. The grade of beef served was not prime or even select. I make better steaks than I had at Lord Fletcher’s last night."

"We have been going here since the early Roar?n 2000s, and every time since, to every Stressgiving, Christmas, pre-New Year and/or out w/ the girlfriends; this is the go-2 restaurant of the O.C., the restaurant that you definitely will not see Tamara Vicky chowing down on or off the cameras, but instead see a bunch of good local folks, the sincere meaning of the La Familia Mexican Restaurant that makes you feel right at home, and right with your wallet, no matter where you are visiting from. Where mi Casa?s can easily accommodate a few patrons in the restaurant or bar to a large party with over 20 and on one long table , to plenty of booth table options for up to 4 people during date night. Kid friendly, even in the bar table seating area, and bar stools for over a dozen drinkers, welcoming and well opened entry, clean bathrooms, plenty of parking well lite , but it does get busy especially during the holidays, where I am assuming they take reservations, but we have always walked-in and got seated immediately after arriving. Then there is the Happy Hour? or just strolling back to the bar w/ no H.H. , where one of the most hardworking waitresses Shasta I have ever witness serving multiple tables at a time, will welcome you, inform us on the deals and give great recommendations on how we can improve our experience and not costing us more, by starting us out right with a few Margarita?s $5 each , Cadillac $6 each and see photos for add?l costs/savings for food and alcohol beverages. The portion servings especially the ?? ? chicken cheese tacos are plenty and my husband of near 300 lbs gets overfilled with all-u-can-serve chips and salsa w/ one not 2 , but 1 ? ? ? served w/the delicious house Refried Beans and Rice, costing under $20 per person in general. On this particular date 1/31/21 , in addition we had order 4 chicken ? cheese ? tacos ?, beans, rice, chips and salsa. To see what I am talking about see photo the tray of tacos is that of 4 tacos. Highly, Highly Recommended for folks in and outside of Orange County that enjoy Great Tasting Mexican Food, AND for a Great Price!!"

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."

"My husband and I went to Nora's on recommendation from our friends for our anniversary. It was a true delight! The food Oh! was amazing. I had the Sabzi, so fresh! The hummus, a dream! The staff was just cool and comfortable. I had a cake brought there in advance to surprise my husband. The did so great with signals on when to bring it out, it was hilarious my husband had no idea. We will definitely be making Nora's a regular visit when we are in Dallas. I recommend it highly!"

"We’ve been here enough to know that they offer great service, but my recent visit was unfortunately disappointing. Sunday night, not crowded at all. After our server got our drink order, he didn’t come back for good 15min to take our food order. We had to ask busboy to get the server, and for some reason we got a completely different person to be taken care. She was nice, but never came back for drink refill and, I don’t know, it just wasn’t the usual accommodating service I’ve known to enjoy. I brought my friends who were their first visit, hoping they’ll like the place, but I don’t think they will ever come back…"

"I visited the restaurant on Saturday night, November 4, around 7:30, with a friend for the first time. Wow, we absolutely loved it! The staff was fantastic and knowledgeable. One of the employees even took the time to share some fascinating history about the place. I mentioned that the building used to be a flower shop for many years, which was a fun revelation. We were pleasantly surprised to discover they had live music! The band, Emerald Dawn, was incredible! Before we knew it, the place was packed, and we ended up staying for two and a half hours. We enjoyed ice cream followed by coffee. It was such great entertainment and a delightful surprise! Thank you!"

"The most memorable moment of the night was a surprise service fee slipped into the bottom of the bill and probably taints this review. The service was a little disjointed. A little “off”. We ate: Stuffed pepper appetizers, Kitchen sink salad, Branzino bass, filet and mud pie. Food was good, not great, nothing to Wow about. I’m not going to pick it apart, but nothing was worthy of photos. But you know when food is up at the kitchen as the ring the Mel’s Diner bell. Too funny. Servers were very pleasant, but forced to apologize all night for being unprepared, new and disapproving of restaurant policy. Make sure you look at your receipt, couple we were with had experience of over billed in the past and we found a strange $7 service fee added to the bottom of the bill. Surprise! We just want a little more money? Ridiculous! Just because you’re paying high Laguna rent doesn’t make it okay to slip in an extra random fee. Wine list is short, lower quality and marked 250-300% over retail. There’s a reason it’s easy to get reservations on a Friday night two hours ahead."

"I ordered the Nashville hot chicken tenders to go, along with some fries. The chicken pieces were huge, juicy, and quite tasty. The service was quick and friendly, but unfortunately, the chicken did not have the Nashville hot flavor I was expecting. While it was good, it wasn’t even remotely spicy. Additionally, I found two hairs in my chicken tenders, which is a major reason for my two-star rating. The food was also served in polystyrene containers, which are toxic and harmful to the environment. I believe prioritizing the environment is more important than a minor reduction in profits. Lastly, the casino atmosphere is quite off-putting when you're just trying to enjoy a meal at the restaurant."

"The pizza was good. Service was extremely slow even though I had ordered an hour prior I still ended up waiting 1 1/2 hrs. The young ladies on the wait staff were doing their absolute best in a stressful situation. There were several customers that were visibly upset with the wait and it clearly messed with the gals trying to help. Under the circumstances I don't blame them at all. They can't make anything cook faster. Parking: I'd like to tell the young ladies at the pick up counter thank you for trying and keeping calm even when others were getting snotty. Especially the little gal that helped the elderly lady when she asked to order something to go."

"I've been eating at Henry's End since the mid-1980s. it continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in all of Brooklyn. When I first ate there, it was unique, there were no other restaurants like it. What speaks to its longevity is it's consistently high standards of service, cooking, and presentation. The food that I have eaten is never less excellent and my meal last night was no exception. The caesar salad was well prepared with anchovies on the side that added just the right amount of umami. The duck with mushrooms was cooked perfectly and filled with the flavor profile of that brings me back to this restaurant time and again. All in all, we had a great meal!!"

"My fiancé ordered a flight of beers, but when they were brought out, the waitress couldn’t identify which was which. She promised to return shortly with that information but didn’t come back for about 15 minutes. We had already finished the beers by the time she returned and had to make a guess about which was which. I don’t like to complain, and the food was decent—nothing extraordinary. The waitress was friendly, but it seems she just lacks experience with serving beer. Overall, I felt the experience was a bit overpriced for what we received."

"Excellent service, friendly, attentive. The food prep time is based on when you go to the salad bar so you can take your time and enjoy the amazing view out the window of the Columbia River and the suspension bridge. However our appetizer did not come out until after our food but we were told the new chef did not know how to prepare it and that it would be taken off our bill and it was. The salad bar was fresh, with many options, cold plates and lots of dressings offered. The plates came warm with our dinner and the food was very good. Temperature was perfect and the side selections were mashed, baked or pilaf. We got mashed and they were good, baked came with my request of toppings on the side which were bacon, butter, sour cream, green onions. My halibut was perfect and great seasoning. Hubby got King salmon and he said it was delicious, my son got salmon bearnaise and he loved it and had extra to take home it's a large portion. Our water and drinks were refilled often. This was our first visit and we loved it all. Aubrey our server was friendly and very good at her job."
