"This is a fantastic local deli for when you're in a rush. While the outdoor area could use some sprucing up and there are a few intriguing characters around, it's still a decent spot. They offer a wide variety of food options, and you can grab a can of beer from the fridge to enjoy either inside or outside. The staff is very helpful, and they do charge for credit card payments."

"This is officially my favorite place for pork roll. I've never had such a thick cut of pork roll. Even though we didn't eat it while it was fresh (we ate it about an hour later at the beach) it was absolutely delicious. My 4 year old could not stop eating it and my wife agreed that this was the best we've ever had. The no. 3 club was amazing as well. Everything is so fresh and it's just the right amount of everything. It was so refreshing. My wife was thinking about going back for more on the same day but they close at 2:30. The staff was very friendly and helpful and nice. They definitely make us feel like we are at home. We were there around 11am, there were plenty of tables for dining in and the hot food looks great as well. Will definitely come back next time we are done the shore."

"The hot food was good and the fruits were fresh, but I had a negative experience with a staff member at the deli. A Spanish man there was unfriendly and told me I couldn't share the fruit from my container with my partner and son. I had just spent $24, and my hands were clean! I couldn't help but feel like I was being discriminated against because we are Black. It was disappointing to see such behavior. I wanted to support this business, but it felt like too much. It’s frustrating when there are tensions among different communities, especially in a diverse city like New York."

"my man went in there today and was treated so badly and unprofessionally by the personal. we waited 2 hours for them to deliver our food and when it was finally delivered, eating was not only cold, but eating was poor. my man went to the place to ask for a new salad and croissant, as the croissant in the grunde was black from the toaster and the salat was totally soggy. the personal replaced the objects, but gave my man another burned croissant and without butter. he went back to ask for butter, and the woman screamed practically on him and said, if he didn't like it, he didn't have to go back. I'm not sure if she simply treats all the customers, the art or only the black ones, but either so it wasn't appropriate! she doesn't have to worry about going back."
