"During my first visit to the café, my coffee arrived quickly, but I ended up waiting an additional 25 minutes for my sandwich, which they completely forgot. This mix-up made me late for my nail appointment. While I was there, I was encouraged to give the café another shot.
On my second visit, I ordered the same items. The latte came out promptly again, but, disappointingly, my breakfast sandwich was overlooked for a second time. It was almost comical in a frustrating way as the staff exchanged glances with me but then continued with their tasks, seeming to ignore my order. One of the younger employees appeared more focused on counting her tips than on ensuring I received my meal.
It feels like the staff would rather engage in conversation with each other than concentrate on preparing food. Their lack of attention disappointed me not once, but twice, and I've decided not to return. I gave them two stars because one staff member (not the one counting tips) was kind enough to offer me a pastry to take with me. Overall, though, I won't be coming back!"
