"I like this place and for sure will go back but my first time there was a bit of a mess. At brunch, we ordered two entrees and asked the avocado to be on the side. Not extra avo on the side, just the avo in the dish kept separate cuz I can’t eat it. First they brought out the wrong meals which whatever, that happens all the time so who cares. But then our food came out and one had avocado incorporated, while the other had it on the side as asked. It was a misunderstanding and I felt bad. the staff seemed very overwhelmed as the brunch rush started so we just kept the meals and scraped it off as best we could. Not a big deal but if you have food sensitivities I recommend being almost annoyingly clear about what you need. I thought I was being super clear but I guess not! Otherwise the food was great and this place has an awesome vibe and I’ll for sure be back to take my own advice"

"I have travel to many local Mexican restaurants in Mexico over the past 15 plus years. The food is fantastic. I don 't expect to taste the same in the USA, as it is normally more Tex-mex . I was very surprised at the food taste, even though they have to tune it down for the gringos, you can taste the authenticity in the food and only those that have travel to real pueblo in Mexico can comment. Not what I expected and was happly surprised, just wish I could eat more but the portions were very filling. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Don 't let the lay back atmosphere or decor fool you. This is typical Mexican country side home feel. Hats off the the owners and employees. Wish I had time to enjoy, Una Micheladas . Cheers"

"The menu looked appealing and promised a great meal, but unfortunately, it didn't deliver. The chips were store-bought, and the salsa was mediocre at best. The restaurant was nearly empty for a 12:30 PM lunch, and to my surprise, they had "run out" of mole for the enchiladas. I opted for the Chile Relleno with beef, but it arrived strangely flattened—like it had been cooked on a flat grill rather than deep-fried—and I couldn't taste or see any beef at all. My lunch companions had similar disappointing experiences. Given that this place is supposed to be a higher-end version of the Taxco company, I expected much more. It’s unfortunate, but I won’t be returning. There’s no reason for a second chance, and I doubt this place will last long."

"I enjoyed this restaurant. The service was excellent. Our waiters were pleasant and attentive. The food was pretty good and beautifully presented. I had the Camarones, Vaca Frita and Domino Cake. "We were looking to try something new and came across this place. I really appreciate the trend of combining self-service with high-quality food, rather than the usual fast-food association. The tacos are on the pricier side, but the true highlight of the menu is the Vampiros. I had never tried one before, and it will definitely be the reason we come back. The fried cheese flavor on the tortilla is absolutely amazing! My husband enjoyed the spices in the rice, but found the tacos to be fairly average. He sampled the pork, chicken, beef, and shrimp tacos, and we both agreed that the shrimp was the best. We'll definitely return for the Vampiros."

"First time here, and while the food was delicious and interesting to watch the FRESH tortillas be made, not one of the employees were even smoking which is not a good sign of a business practice to have unhappy employees. We try to add value to people thatdon't smile by trying to joke around and finally got the girl ringing us up to crack a smile at the end. So has to be -1 ?. Butthe quesabirria tacos with the dip was AMAZING! My husband loved putting the dip on top of his California Burrito (that has thedelicious type of crunchy french fries in it) ???? Price value was slightly high, especially for the lack of customerfriendliness (felt like we were almost in the way for the ordering part), but the beautiful weather made the outside porch verypleasant as the sun set!"

"We enjoyed another fantastic meal! The grilled chicken enchiladas were delightful, and the crispy pollo al pastor taco was packed with flavor. The birria taco was exceptional, but I have a quick tip: birria doesn't fare well for takeout due to its tasty juices—it won't remain crunchy by the time you get home. Overall, we are definitely fans!"

"This is my favorite go to for Mexican food. Fresh, healthy except for my favorite cocktail which is fresh and wickedly good El Satanico. One should set you right. Take Uber home because your mom loves you. The bar staff is great smart, young and cool and professional. They know what they are doing. The food is Sooo Good and farm to table fresh. Bonus Points its in Ponce City Market which is so cool and urban hip and sits on ATL's Beltline."
