"Worst place ever. Got here on a Friday night at put out name down and was quoted a wait. Came back after minutes to find no one was waiting anymore and we asked the hostess how much longer, and be before we could even ask she said the kitchen it closed. But we put our name down an hour ago. Oh yeah, I called you. What name did you call? How do you know our name just by looking at us? Oh umm.. We even called your phone number and no one answered Pulls out phone Nope, no calls. Funny, you never asked us for our phone number anyways. Can we see a manager. Some other girl said oh we can see if they will keep the kitchen open for you so we said ok. In the meantime we waited for a manager to show up. NEVER happened. They sat us down and said we had to order in before they closed. We ordered a mango margarita. Someone else brought out a strawberry margarita and we told them it was wrong. Then the bartender personally comes to the table and says, you know mango is alot sweeter right? Yes, but that's what we ordered, we never ordered a strawberry. Oh? Ok. Our waitress comes back I don't know why he bothered coming here to tell you that, he just got it all mixed up. Basically, she went and instead of telling him she got the order wrong, she blamed it on us and said the first one was way too sweet and we wanted a mango margarita instead. Blamed the mistake on us. Wise.Anyways, ordered the food, food came out. Mind you the kitchen was closing in minutes but there was food coming out for a good minutes and even after we were done paying our bill. No manager showed up to discuss what happened, offer a simple apology or acknowledge that they had incapable people working there. We left and never came back. My family and I are major foodies so this was a major disappointment. We will never return or recommend coming here. The place seemed like it had potential but the food and service sucked, and that's not what we pay for"

"After visiting a good friend in a nearby hospital, we wanted some tacos and there must be 8 places to choose from in a 3 block area around us. We tossed a coin and came here. GREAT EXPERIENCE!! You walk in and you know the food is going to be good from all the pictures and posters on the wall. The menu has lots and lots of choices and for the lingual impaired, great pictures showing what everything is. I ordered the shrimp in garlic butter and cream sauce... oh my guacamole it was wonderful, the right amount of garlic and the buttery cream sauce was perfect. It came with 5 tortillas and the reason I point this out is I think restaurants in L.A. hold to a 3-tortilla rule when you order them but here they gave me 5!!! My buddy ordered the super sope with ground beef and cheese and avocado. For those that are not familiar, a sope is a fat tortilla, similar to the pupusas from El Salvador but more simple. Topped with beans and meat and cheese then tomatoes and avocados and your choice of salsa. We also ordered «aguas frescas», a wonderful drink to accompany the food. Choices are Horchata, Jamaica, Tamarindo, Piña, Melón and Sandía. I took sandía (watermelon) and my buddy had piña (pineapple). I love aguas frescas but many times they are too sweet or not sweet enough. Like the story of the three bears, those were just right! And huge too! The portions are plentiful and we took half home. Best bang for the buck I have had in awhile."
