"I walked over here while in town on business, with plenty of time before my next appointment. I placed my order and was told it might take a bit, as they had quite a few orders they were working on. No problem. Fast forward about 30 minutes: the woman who took my order asks if I’m waiting (well, yeah, I’ve been waiting here this entire time, and there’s no one else dining in), she goes to the back and says they’re working on it right now. Cool. Several minutes later someone comes out w/a plate of food and walks past me to deliver it to the person who just recently arrived. I tell the woman at the counter it’s getting to the point I can’t wait much longer. Another worker comes out, they both ask what I ordered, when I ordered it, ask to see my receipt, then say they can make it and have it to me in 5 minutes (so they weren’t actually “working on it” as I was told). I was given a juice for my trouble. 45 minutes after ordering I’m bolting out the door w/my food in hand (that I’ll have to eat much later), and the woman follows me outside to offer a discount card the NEXT time I’m there (I’m from out of town so this isn’t useful). They claim they were slammed w/UberEats orders and my order “must have went out w/one of them”. When I finally ate my food (chick’n salad sandwich w/Mac and squash) I was totally “meh”. In summary, if a person is standing around waiting, perhaps one of the three employees who’ve walked past her several times should check on her order, and when they do, not make up a story that it’s on the way, and then ask what she ordered, and then ask for her receipt to verify. Seems like one of the many crystals they sell here could help with that."
