"Came her on a Friday night around 6 without a reservation and was seated, there is the bar and two tables for non reservation people. Each table has a bottle to of water with mint in it, which is such a nice touch. The staff is super friendly. At the end of the meal they gave a complimentary gluten free cookie since they ran out of the regular ones, we liked it so we bought one to go too. The owner was so nice and apologized that they had not more regular ones. This place reminds me of a Greek diner, they have a gyro on the menu which was recommended but we went with the pineapple fried rice and the grilled portobello sandwich, plenty of food for us, the salad was huge and packed the toppings. The standout was the pecan dressing. Thick, cream and sweet, I never had anything like it before and it was one of the best dressings I’ve tried. I also like the sesame sticks in the salad which added a nice crunch, as did the walnuts, plenty of mushrooms as well. My husband’s rice was the perfect combo of sweet and salty. Had an umami flavor and also came with Nan bread and avocado which balanced out the dish. The prices are between 20-30 a dish which is reasonable for the quality and portion. They have a great desert menu and we were tempted to get cake but opted for a cookie so I can eat it at the movie we were going to. Food came out at a reasonable place and we spent about an hour here, some tables where there longer and they will definitely not rushing anyone, also there is one bathroom and it’s very clean. I want to come back and will make a reservation next time. I highly recommend for vegan, vegetarian and even meat eaters just because the staff, portions and flavors are so good. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I walked over here while in town on business, with plenty of time before my next appointment. I placed my order and was told it might take a bit, as they had quite a few orders they were working on. No problem. Fast forward about 30 minutes: the woman who took my order asks if I’m waiting (well, yeah, I’ve been waiting here this entire time, and there’s no one else dining in), she goes to the back and says they’re working on it right now. Cool. Several minutes later someone comes out w/a plate of food and walks past me to deliver it to the person who just recently arrived. I tell the woman at the counter it’s getting to the point I can’t wait much longer. Another worker comes out, they both ask what I ordered, when I ordered it, ask to see my receipt, then say they can make it and have it to me in 5 minutes (so they weren’t actually “working on it” as I was told). I was given a juice for my trouble. 45 minutes after ordering I’m bolting out the door w/my food in hand (that I’ll have to eat much later), and the woman follows me outside to offer a discount card the NEXT time I’m there (I’m from out of town so this isn’t useful). They claim they were slammed w/UberEats orders and my order “must have went out w/one of them”. When I finally ate my food (chick’n salad sandwich w/Mac and squash) I was totally “meh”. In summary, if a person is standing around waiting, perhaps one of the three employees who’ve walked past her several times should check on her order, and when they do, not make up a story that it’s on the way, and then ask what she ordered, and then ask for her receipt to verify. Seems like one of the many crystals they sell here could help with that."
