"Decided to go-to Commerce to see what all restaurants were out this way, and seen the very first one off the highway being Lone Star Eatery. The parking lot was packed and people were parking in the grass. Went in as a group and we all ordered a frozen margarita being they have a large selection of frozen margarita that you don't typically see. The original and strawberry and mango. The ones I've never seen anywhere before was Blue raspberry and Raspberry, peach margarita. The blue raspberry and mango was awesome! Started off with the Texas cheese fries and they were a nice not too crunchy double fried fries with cheese and bacon with a side of ranch. They brought out a free plate of honey rolls with cinnamon butter... It was better then Roadhouse lol. I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy with a side of Mac and cheese, loaded mash potatoes. The chicken fried steak was gigantic and the breading was perfect, flaky and melt in your mouth and not hard but fried golden brown. Other at the table got The Gigantic baked potato with brisket and bbq sauce, it was a massive potato for sure and they said it was pretty good. I noticed a buffet was setup in the rear of the restaurant and the waitress said they do a buffet daily until 2PM, so it may be something to try in the future. They have a lot of desert options ranging from chocate chip pizza, apple pie, cheese cake, chocolate meltdown(brownie), cinnamon bread. I really wanted to get the cinnamon bread but I was stuffed.. I could barely get out of the booth and then realized I had to wobble to my truck ROFL. I'd highly recommend the blue raspberry margarita and the chicken fried steak... And the rolls with extra cinnamon butter."

"Our experience was what you would expect from a casual dining, American chain restaurant. A little better, really. As for the steak, which is why you go there after all, it was cooked perfected. Properly seasoned and very, very tasty. HOWEVER, the Porterhouse they sell is NOT a true porterhouse steak. It a just a large NY Strip. Consider this when ordering. Had I received a true porterhouse, I would have given 4 stars instead of 3.Texas Roadhouse needs to deliver what they claim they offer, and what I purchased. USDA Prime Porterhouse Steak offers hearty portions of two great cuts the Tenderloin Filet and Strip Steak. UPDATE:I returned four months after my previous review and ordered the exact same meal. What was different this time is that I dined alone and at the bar, not in in the main dinning room.Last time I had expressed some dissatisfaction with the steak. In some aspects it was better and in others less so. This time I did receive a true Porterhouse steak, comprising of a strip steak and the filet bother attached to the bone as they should be. So this time I did receive what I paid for. It did not taste fresh and it was lacking in proper seasoning. I suspect that it has a steak that had been previously frozen. Normally, often times, that is to be expected and is extremely commonplace in the industry. From a restaurant that boasts of fresh, hand cut steaks that is what the consumer should expect. A frozen steak from a restaurant that boasts of fresh, hand cut, this is unacceptable. Now if the steak was in fact fresh, never frozen, then I would have to challenge them of the quality. Maybe I just need to order a different steak. For these reasons I will keep their star rating the same.As for service, it has always been good. No complaints here at all. The waitstaff are polite, respectful, engaging, and most importantly respected my pace my time. Will I return? Sure will, but I think I will give some time, like a year, before I return."
